1. 1 Carefully remove all packing material 2A Determine desired location of cabinet on wall Commonly accepted height of medicine cabinet is 64 from floor to center of mirror area It is recommended that the cabinet be located so that the mounting screws may be screwed into wood studs to provide maximum strength 2B Locate wood stud in relation to cabinet 2C Drill four mounting holes 2 shown in cabinet back 1 1 2 from top and bottom of cabinet One set of holes to be aligned with wood stud if stud is in convenient location 3A Mark wall through upper mounting holes in back of cabinet 2B 3B Draw a horizontal line connecting the top two mounting hole markings This line must be level and if necessary should be adjusted by use of a carpenter s level 4 Drill mounting holes into studs Insert 4 mounting screws through cabinet back and mount cabinet securely to stud in wall If studs are not available use molly bolts or toggle bolts instead of screws to Installation Instructions mount cabinet to plaster or plasterboard walls 5 Walls must be plumb and level Irregularities in wall will cause distortion of cabinet and may require a small shim to be placed between cabinet and wall at corners Form 72 283 02
