Assembly Instructions Daliya Capiz Pendant PXC222 PXC233 PXC244 WARNING BE SURE TO SHUT OFF POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING THIS FIXTURE NOTE 1 Before installing consult local electrical codes for wiring and grounding requirements 2 Read and save this instruction Take out the socket with cord thread the cord through the center hole of the rack cover cap DN i 9 Outlet Box nuts canopy and two holes of the strain relief gt Mounting Strap 2 Attach the socket to the top end of the rack by Washer inserting the nipple secure it with the cover and cap nut 3 Measure the desired length of the cord A from the canopy to the cap nut and leave an additional 9 of cord B above the canopy a Mounting Screw iS aoa E i K Wire Nut o Hk t Bens de 3 a l Sy any 1 Iolra i Canopy include the canopy Then cut off the Strain Relief unnecessary cord See Fig 1 Hex Nut 4 Adjust strain relief a 9 position from the top Cap Nut of the cord Plastic Screw 5 Mark the 3 of cord C from the top of the ata cord B Use a knife to peel off the insulation Cord of the cord C carefully to expose the 3 wires Rack on the inside See Fig 1 Caution Cutting too deep may cut off the three inside G h n I Y 6 Peel off the 3 wires from the top about 3 8 long D to expose the copper fo2. e the length of cord that 4 is exposed K o 6 mn How to replace broken capiz discs 1 If any strand of capiz has broken discs remove the strand of capiz 2 Decide the length of spare strand of capiz and cut off unwanted discs 3 Tie the spare strand of capiz to the ring See Fig 1
3. r wiring eee 7 Attach the mounting strap to the outlet box by using two wires and destroy the insulation surface of the three FRNA inside wires qe 0 o L z mounting screws 8 Pull out the outlet wires and the house grounding wire from 4 the outlet box Make wire connections using the wire nuts K 6 ro a The clear wire marked L from the fixture to the black O 7 C wire from the power source b The clear wire with white line and marked N from the fixture to the white wire from the power source xe X c The clear grounding wire with green line and marked T Sd O aa SR ae from the fixture to the green grounding wire from power source f N Carefully put wires back into the outlet box 6 J 9 Pull the cord A down slightly until the strain relief touches Ss pa g 10 Attach the canopy to the mounting strap Lift the canopy allowing the two screws and washers to slide into the mating slots Rotate the canopy clockwise until both screws from the mounting strap drop into the slot recesses Tighten screws securely 11 Install a bulb not included See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum allowed wattage 12 Turn on the power at the main fuse or circuit breaker box the hex nut Then gently secure the plastic screws Do not l q over tighten t gt Note Adjusting the strain relief and plastic screw of the i F _ canopy can decrease or increas
