2. fan so that the groove on the ball engages the ridge in the mounting bracket 5b 1 Yoke amp Canopy Assembly Canopy gt set screw Take off canopy decorating cap from bottom of canopy then fasten 3 canopy set screws and washers provided from hardware bag onto yoke firmly Canopy decorating cap Fan assembly 5b 2 Hanging the fan Wie bracket Tab Lift the fan assembly and hang onto the Ra NY tab on mounting bracket This will permit A AA S3 you to make the electrical connections f without having to hold the fan up as well oc Make wire connections for 110 120VAC 60Hz For use with remote controller 5c 1 Prepare Remote Control Transmitter e Code Switches eceiver Code Switches This unit has 16 different code combinations 1 Setting the code on the TRANSMITTER A Remove battery cover B Slide code switches to your choice of ON or OFF position Use a small screwdriver or ball point pen to slide each switch firmly up or down C Install 9V DC battery not included D Install battery cover on transmitter 2 Slide code switches on the receiver to be the SAME POSITIONS as set on your transmitter P3 5c 2 Make wire connection Follow diagram below and make sure that all exposed wires are secured inside wire nuts or terminal block Note Wires from house may vary in color and may not include ground wire green After wiring is completed gently push wires into junction box with wire nuts poi
3. nting upward From House From Remote From Fan Y White MH gt A o a k White AC N r 3 Motor N Black ME CGC N Black AC L Motor L Blue for light kit Green OSS Green for ground wire from downrod Green from mounting bracket ji Secure with twist lock wire nuts Included 5d Canopy installation 1 Install remote control receiver into mounting bracket Left hand 2 side screw Take off left hand side screws one of each across on mounting bracket first then loosen the other two Push up the Canopy until the two screws on mounting E O bracket are engaged with L type slot holes on canopy 3 Rotate the canopy slightly until the two screw heads are in the L type slot holes 4 Tighten 4 screws firmly Attach blade to blade arm with screws amp washers provided in hardware bag Make sure that all screws are firmly tightened Blade arm 6 Blades installation Screws gt i Washers gt F amp Blade assembly to motor Remove 3pcs of motor stoppers Attach the blade assembly to motor using motor screws from hardware bag NOTE Do not bend blade or blade arm to prevent wobble P4 8 Make wire connections for light kit Loosening 3 screws from the switch housing cover of light kit l Switch Housing 1 White wire from Light Kit to white wire from fan White Wire Blue Wire and connect by wire nu
4. t r White Wire 2 Black wire from Light Kit to blue wire Sik Housing from fan and connect by wire nut ME Light Kit gt l Fitter Attach light kit cover and light kit assembly to switch housing by 3 original screws 9 Light kit Installation Switch Spring clip l 4 ing TE Switch LightKit Housing 1 Housing Fitter Light kit Knob fixture Pull Chain Socket Glass 1 2 3 Install light bulbs to sockets Attach glass onto light kit Connect knob to pull chain max GU24 x2 bulbs fixture by 3 spring clips included 10 Turn on the power your fan Is ready for operation
5. t or work loose DO NOT USE PLASTIC BOXES Installation on a concrete ceiling should be performed by qualified personnel Blades should be attached after motor housing is hung and in place Fan motor housing should be kept in carton until ready to be installed to protect its finish If you are installing more than one ceiling fan make sure that you do not mix fan blade sets After making electrical connections spliced conductors should be turned upward and pushed carefully up into outlet box The wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor and the equipment grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box and the HOT wires on the other side Electrical diagrams are for reference only Light kits that are not packed with the fan must be UL listed and should be installed per the light kit s installation instructions After fan is completely installed check to make sure that all connections are secure to prevent fan from falling and or causing damage or injury The fan can be made to work immediately after installation the bearings are adequately charged with grease So that under normal conditions further lubrication should not be necessary 10 The fan must be turned off and stopped before reversing fan direction 11 This fan is suitable for indoor location use P1 1 Unpack and inspect fan carefully to be certain all contents are included Sp 7 KU Mounting Bracket Hardware bag
