1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Model 8842 8843 READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS WARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER 1 Shut off power at the circuit breaker and remove old fixture including mounting hardware Fig 1 J CB 2 Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the Km parts in a clear area Take care not to misplace any eee E small parts necessary for installation 3 You need to make two holes on the wall in correct M CHD position in accordance with the long strap C an d the N outlet box A then insert the anchor E into the hole O EWA 4 Pull black and white wires out of electrical outlet box p A 5 Thread the four studs B into the pre drilled holes in the long strap C spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the back plate F 6 Attach long Strap C using Outlet Box Screws D to the outlet box A screw the wood screws G into the anchor E Fig 1 7 Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2 M aking sure that all wire connectors are secured If your outlet box has a ground wire green or bare copper connect the fixture s Ground wire to it Otherwise connect the fixture s Ground wire directly to the long strap using the Green Screw H provided 8 To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box A and causing a short use clear silicone Sealant to outline the outside of fixture back plate F where it meets the wall leaving a space at bot2. tom to allow moisture a means to escape 9 Place the back plate F into stud B and secure it Fig tightly against the wall using cap nut I Fig 1 fue lt D FIXTURE 10 At this point unscrew the top finial J remove the BLACK WHITE rubber K and the up decorative cover L unscrew the nipple M and the extend nut N remove the down decorative cover O and the top cover P gently to install the light bulbs in accordance with the fixture specification DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING 11 Replace the top cover P and the down decorative FIXTURE COPPER cover O secure the extend nut N and screw the U american nipple M replace the up decorative cover L and 4 L lighting rubber K then secure with the top finial J association 12 Screw the nipple Q place the bottom decorative LISTED holder R and secure with the bottom finial S ed ta CAUTION RISK OF FIRE CONSULT A Your installation is now complete Return power to the QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE OUNL DOK ANG test URE Walle CORRECT BRANCH CIRCUIT CONDUCTOF
