1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR 1424 ARNING SHUT POWER OFF AT FUSE OR CIRCUIT BREAKER PREPARATION 1 Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box If necessary Remove old fixture and all mounting hardware from wall junction box 2 Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts on a clear area Take not to loose any small parts necessary for installation ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE 3 Spread the arms E1 so that the arms E1 are at equal distance from each other 4 Thread the nut G onto the nipple H then thread the nipple H into the coupling F and tighten with the nut G 5 Slide the tube I cap K iron washer L plastic washer M glass J plastic washer N and iron washer O over the nipple H and secure with the nut P 6 Slide the cap Q over the nipple H and secure with the finial R MOUNTING THE FIXTURE FIG 1 7 Thread the two mounting screws C part way into the circular strap A Secure the circular strap A to junction box not provided with the junction box screws B through slotted holes in circular strap A CONNECTING THE WIRES Fig 2 8 Connect the fixture wires to the junction box wires as shown in Fig 2 Make sure all wire connectors wT gt are secure and do not easily pull off with a slight FIXTURE tug If there is no Green Ground Wire from the Green or junction box connect the Fixture Ground Wire to Copper Ground the Circula2. r Strap or the Mounting bar with the Green Screw provided 9 Tuck these wire connections neatly into the ceiling WIRES junction box Green or 10 Raise the canopy D allowing for the mounting acai at screws C to protrude through the holes on the canopy D then secure with the finials E COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION 11 Install the proper light bulbs for your fixture e DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE lighting association Return the power to the junction box and test the fixture Your installation is now complete
