1. Maker for other than the intended use e For use only on 120V 60HZ power Use a socket with a good ground connection Do not use three to two way adapter on the three prong power cord provided e For interior household use only CARAMEL CORN Ya cup butter 1 cup brown sugar Ya cup light corn syrup Ya cup sweetened condensed milk Y teaspoon vanilla 5 quarts popped corn Make popcorn in the Popcorn Maker as listed in the instructions Combine butter brown sugar and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan Cook over medium heat stirring well Bring to a boil Stir in milk Turn to low heat and stir constantly until the mixture reaches a soft ball stage Stir in the vanilla In a large bowl pour syrup over popped corn Mix well until all the popcorn is coated CHOCOLATE POPCORN DELUXE cup butter 5 cups miniature marshmallows 1 quarts popped corn 1 4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips Make popcorn in the Popcorn Maker as listed in the instructions Next step is to melt the butter and marshmallows in a 2 quart saucepan over medium low heat Stir until all the ingredients are smooth Combine the popped popcorn and all the chocolate chips in a big bowl Pour marshmallows mixture over the popcorn an chocolate chips Make sure all the ingredients are mixed well together Press into a greased 9X9 pan Chill until firm Cut into squares and enjoy 7 Popcorn is now ready for serving Sprinkle popcorn with salt if desired Poppin2. e Always attach cord to the appliance first then plug cord into wall outlet After popping unplug cord from wall outlet Let appliance cool before removing cord e Do not leave the appliance plugged in when it is not being used e Always unplug the appliance from outlet before cleaning Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning e Never leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged into an outlet e A short power supply is provided with this appliance to reduce the risk of entanglement or tripping While we do not recommend it extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use If an extension cord is used the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least 15 amperes The longer cord should not hang over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or pets or tripped over CAUTION To prevent burns or other personal injuries to children read and follow all instructions and warning PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AROUND CHILDREN e Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children e Do not allow cord to hang over any edge where a child can reach it Arrange cord to avoid pulling tripping or entanglement SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT USE THE CORN POPPER IF ALL FOUR WHEELS ARE NOT PROPERLY ATTACHED BEFORE USING THE FIRST TIME 1 Wash popper cover and plastic cap in warm soapy water rinse thoroughly and dry
3. 82 HE522 Popcorn Popper Instruction Manual PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS e Read all instructions before using the Popcorn Maker e Do not touch hot surfaces Always use the plastic handles on lid and do not touch the metal popcorn tray when hot o To protect against fire electric shock and injury do not immerse cord plug or Popcorn Maker in water or other liquid e Always supervise children when using or near this appliance o Before use unwind the power cord completely and keep the cord away from the hot parts of the appliance e Do not let the power cord hang over edge of the table or counter or touch hot surfaces Do not place the Popcorn Maker on or near hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven e Do not operate the Popcorn Maker with a damaged cord or plug If this product malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner return it to the Popcorn Maker Service Center for examination repair or adjustment e The use of accessory attachments not recommended may result in fire electric shock or injury e Always unplug the Popcorn Maker from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning to avoid accidental electrical shock Allow it to cool before cleaning e As long as the appliance is hot even if unplugged there is the danger of getting burned Do not touch it and do not put it into storage while hot o Do not use the Popcorn

USING Place popper base on flat dry surface Preparing popcorn 1 With the unit unplugged add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and 1 2 cup of popcorn into popper base Do not ada more corn oil than recommended Spread corn evenly over popping surface Do not substitute butter margarine shortening olive oil or lard for vegetable oil as these will burn or smoke excessively 2 Place cover on popper base making sure handles of cover fit into handles of popper base Remove the cap from the butter chamber If buttered corn is desired divide recommended amount of refrigerated butter into 6 equal sized parts and place in a single layer over butter holes in butter well If unrefrigerated butter is used add to butter well after the first kernel of corn pops Popcorn will be buttered as it pops Do not add salt to the butter as it will prevent proper melting Do not place plastic cap on butter well until after corn is popped If unbuttered corn is desired do not add butter to the butter well and do not place cap onto butter well until after corn is popped Insert cord into popper base Plug cord into a 120 volt AC outlet Do not shake popper during popping cycle In 4 6 minutes depending on quantity of corn being popped the popping cycle will be completed Unplug cord from wall outlet Use a hot pad to remove cord from popper base If butter is not completely melted in butter well use a spoon to push any remaining bu
5. g Additional Batches of Popcorn if you plan to pop more corn immediately transfer popcorn from serving cover to another serving bowl Follow steps 1 through 7 above CLEANING Clean Popper After Every Use Your corn popper should be cleaned after each use Always allow popper to cool before cleaning Cleaning Popper Cover Wash cover and plastic cap in warm soapy water with a dishcloth or sponge Rinse thoroughly and dry Do not use scouring pad or abrasive powder on cover as this could cause scratching Cleaning Popper Base Clean non stick surface of base with a damp soapy dishcloth sponge or nylon scouring pad Wipe surface with a damp cloth and dry Do not use abrasive scouring pads or powders on non stick finish as scratching may occur After consistent use the non stick finish may discolor To remove discoloration use a soft cloth saturated with lemon juice or vinegar and rub over finish Then wipe the finish with a damp cloth and dry DO NOT PLACE POPPER COVER PLASTIC CAP BASE OR CORD IN AN AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER e Extreme caution must be used when unloading popcorn Always turn the unit away from you and over a countertop so that residual hot oil or steam will not cause a burn ELECTRICITY PRECAUTIONS e To protect against electric shock do not immerse cord plugs or other electric parts in water or other liquids e Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug e Do not use this appliance outdoors
