7. ems that should be taken out as soon as the dryer stops The signal can t be turned off and it is not adjustable Lint Screen The lint screen is under the lid on top of the dryer Clean the lint screen before each load A screen that s blocked by lint can cause longer drying times CAUTION Do not operate the dryer with the lint screen removed or not securely in place as it may cause over heating possible damage to fabrics and dryer parts or create a fire hazard To remove the screen open the lid and pull the screen straight out Roll the lint off the screen with your fingers DO NOT rinse the screen or wash it Wet lint is hard to remove When replacing the screen push it firmly into place Close the lid Drum Light When the light inside the drum needs to be changed you can reach it through the dryer door 4 Unplug the dryer to avoid possible electrical shock 2 Open the door and remove the light bulb cover by turning it clockwise 3 Remove the light bu b by turning it counterclockwise 4 Replace the bulb only with a 40 watt appliance bulb from most hardware grocery or variety stores 5 Replace the light boulb cover and lock in place by turning counterclockwise CAUTION The bulb cover must be securely in place during dryer operation to prevent overheating and possible damage to fabrics Operating the dryer with the bulb cover removed can cause the dryer to fail or create a fire ha
