1. 12 volt G4 projection type This type bulb has two connector pins that plug into a socket The procedure follows 1 Unscrew the bezel cunei cbe and remove the bezel and lens 2 Hold the reflector in place against the body of the lamp and pull the bulb straight out Note the location d two socket holes that accept the bulb pins 3 Using a clean cloth remove the new bulb from the packing material NOTE Do not touch the new bulb with bare hands oil from fingers can cause premature failure of these bulbs If the bulb is touched clean the bulb with alcohol and a dean doth after the bulb is installed 9 1 1 4 Push the pins on the new bulb into the socket and make sure the bulb is fully inserted 5 Replace the lens and bezel 6 Tighten dockwise the bezel until it is snug 7 Test the light for proper operation by turning it on and then off iJ FLUORESCENT LAMP REPLACEMENT The bulb type is a standard 4 watt FAT5 D fluorescent tube A replacement bulb can be purchased from local lighting hardware or camping stores The fluorescent lamp tube can be replaced after the front vertical lens is removed The procedure follows Remove the battery pack or DC adapter Using a small Phillips screwdriver unscrew aie cele kia the small screw at the top of the lens 2 Slide the lens down from the top of the unit and remove the lens Set the lens aside 3 Remove the fluorescent tube by turning one quarter turn so

14. s carefully to avoid possible injury or property damage WARNINGS The compressor is capable of inflating to 260 pounds per square inch PSI pressure approximately 18 kg cm To avoid over inflation carefully follow instructions on articles to be inflated Never exceed recommended pressures Bursting articles can cause serious injury Always check pressure with the pressure gauge Never leave compressor unattended while in use Allow unit to cool for five minutes after 10 minutes of continuous operation 6 TIRE INFLATION OR PRODUCTS WITH A VALVE STEM l 1 Place connector chuck on valve stem 2 Push connector toward valve stem and close thumb latch 3 Make sure connector is pushed onto valve stem as far as possible before closing thumb latch 4 Turn on the compressor for larger items the trigger can be latched 5 Observe pressure with the pressure gauge 6 When desired pressure is reached open thumb latch and remove connector from valve stem 7 Turn off compressor power switch IMPORTANT Always leave the tire chuck thumb latch in the open position when storing unit 6 2 INFLATE OTHER ARTICLES WITHOUT VALVE STEM Inflation of items others than tires ur use of one of the nozzles adapters A nozzle can be attached to the tire chuck or it can directly be connected to the compressor s outlet if the hose is removed To attach a nozzle to the tire chuck open the nozzle hatch cover and remove the required
15. ss the battery pack release buttons 2 DC POWER ADAPTER USE The DC power adapter can power an appliance for a longer period of time from an external 12 volt DC power source The DC power adapter has a fused DC plug and connecting cord stored inside the DC power adapter To use the DC power adapter first remove the DC plug from it s storage in the adapter Remove the cord from storage and connect the DC power adapter to the compressor Make sure it snaps into position Connect the DC plug to a 12 volt DC source To remove the DC power adapter press the release buttons Put the DC plug and cord in the adapter for storage after use FIGURE 3 FUSED DC PLUG vd N N RELEASE BUTTON CHARGING RECHARGING THE BATTERY PACK Lead acid batteries require periodic charging to maintain a full charge and to ensure good battery life All lead acid batteries suffer from self discharge over time and more rapidly when they are at higher temperatures Therefore these types of batteries need Bero charging to replace energ ge through self discharge When the battery pack is not in use Vector recommends that the battery is recharged at least every 60 days All batteries must be recharged as soon as possible after each use If a battery is allowed to remain in a discharged state battery life will be reduced NOTE Recharging battery after each use will prolong battery life frequent heavy discharges between recharges will reduce al
