Select the washing program Select the desired spin speed Drying times vary in proportion to spinning speed the higher the speed the shorter the drying time and therefore the lower the consumption of electricity It is recommended to choose the highest spin speed for the type of laundry If a spin speed has not been selected also with delicate programs the machine will not automatically carry out the drying phase Select the drying time from 30 to 120 minutes with the relative knob To automatically start both programmes use the on off button N B If you use a plastic container for liquid detergents to be put into the basket only carry out the washing program and remove the container before going ahead with drying Important Do not break off drying when the program has started If it is necessary to open the door during drying stop the program as described in the paragraph Interrupting or changing the drying program on page 50 52 Warning Dry only laundry or garments washed with a watery solution and suitable for machine drying Do not dry fabrics that have been dry cleaned or had stains removed with chemical solvents wool or mixed wool fabrics that shrink with heat very delicate fabrics such as silk and synthetic curtains fabrics that can easily fray such as loose wool wadding and excessively frayed rugs articles containing foam rubber or similar elastic materials By setting

22. iled laundry at lower temperatures than the maximum one indicated on the fabric treatment label Following the indications of the program selection guide for normally dirty fabrics choose a programme without prewashing For particularly dirty fabrics choose a program with prewashing The wool program cannot be combined with prewashing For slightly soiled fabrics you can choose a short programme 48 Starting the washing machine End of program After washing or drying Before starting the machine make sure plumbing and electrical installations have been done correctly Firmly close the door and open the water tap Load the detergent and additive Set the desired program At this point turn knob B to make the wash temperature coincide with the index reference Switch on the on off button i The operating indicator light L will come on After 10 seconds the machine will automatically position itself and carry out the programmed cycle During the program the indicator light L will stay on Warning If for any reason you want to stop the machine when it is operating you need to proceed as described in the chapters Interrupting or changing the wash and the drying programs on page 50 The washing programs are automatically completed if desired with spinning at the desired speed as described in the paragraph Spin rpm selection knob on page 37 If the machine automatically stops a

24. ons as well as giving useful advice Installation instructions Unpacking fig 5 Positioning and levelling fig 6 Important The machine has to be installed by a specialized technician accordingly with the standards in force i Caution the inside of the machine composed of an oscillating unit is locked for transport by the bolts A on the back of the washing machine Before starting the machine you must unlock the unit by unscrewing the above bolts with a 13 mm spanner Remove the bolts A from the back of the washing machine along with the relative plastic spacers B Moreover to prevent splashes of water getting inside the machine or touching parts under voltage the four holes left open by the bolts must absolutely be closed with the plastic caps C supplied N B Do not overturn the machine and do not lay it on its sides It is advisable to keep all the transport safety parts that have to be refitted if the appliance is moved Screw the 4 feet supplied onto the bottom of the washing machine with the lock nuts and arrange them in the chosen position Carefully level the machine in every direction by means of a spirit level adjusting the height of the feet if necessary After adjustment lock the feet with the lock nuts We recommend you to carry out this operation carefully to prevent vibration noise or movement of the washing machine during the use The water drain and supply pipes may be
