C OUTLET MUST BE NEAR THIS EQUIPMENT XC aa AND MUST BE EASILY ACCESSIBLE To 120 V AC Outlet e Press the POWER key on the front panel of the LCD Projection TV or on the remote control The cooling fans start to operate and the POWER indicator flashes green and after a few seconds it lights green 5 ALL CHANNEL SEARCH When the television is powered on for the first time it automatically checks for the presence of an RF signal The initial screen will be displayed e Press the CHANNEL UP CH A key to automatically search for available channels Digital ATSC and Analog NTSC The All Channel Search contains two processes that are executed simultaneously for digital and analog channels Notes Channel information found during the All Channel Search is stored in two Channel Scan Memory databases Analog and Digital After all channel search is completed the TV will tune to the lowest Digital channel or lowest Analog channel if no digital channels are found If the TV does not detect any digital or analog channels a message advising the viewer to check the cables and antenna connections will appear In this case you must press the Channel Up CH A key again to repeat the channel search process If after two searches the TV still fails to detect any channels the TV will tune to analog channel 3 ANTENNA SIGNAL SELECTION 6 OPTIONAL To change the initial analog tuning system setup from ant

NT PANEL AMP PLACE WARNING WARNING lights red LAMP REPLACEMENT The projection lamp has a service life and it needs to be replaced when it reaches the end of life When the lamp of this LCD Projection TV reaches the end of life the LAMP REPLACE indicator will light yellow If this indicator turns to yellow replace the lamp with a new one promptly This indicator will light yellow when the projection lamp reaches the end of life Q CAUTION Allow the LCD Projection TV to cool for at least 30 minutes before you open the Lamp cover The inside of the LCD Projection TV can become very hot FRONT PANEL LAMP REPLACE WARNING CAUTION For continued safety replace with a lamp of the same type Do not drop a lamp or touch a glass bulb The glass can shatter and may cause injury Follow these steps to replace the lamp assembly 1 Turn off the LCD Projection TV and unplug the AC power cord Allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes Press the latches on both sides of the front cover and pull the front cover forward Loosen the screw that secures the lamp cover with a screwdriver and remove the lamp cover Loosen the two 2 screws that secures the lamp assembly and pull out the lamp by holding the holes on both sides Replace the lamp with a new one and secure it with the two 2 screws Make sure that the lamp is seated properly into the lamp compartment Refer to page 32 for ordering the replacemen
