2. use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this tool The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury REVERSE Fig 3 FORWARD APPLICATIONS You may use this tool for the purposes listed below W Driving screws in drywall STARTING STOPPING THE SCREWDRIVER See Figure 3 To turn the screwdriver ON depress the switch trigger Re lease the switch trigger to turn the screwdriver OFF VARIABLE SPEED The screwdriver has a variable speed switch for operator control of speed and torque limits Depress the switch trigger all the way for maximum speed and torque Depress the switch trigger only part of the way for less speed and torque FORWARD REVERSE LEVER See Figure 4 Fig 4 Avoid running the tool at low speeds for extended periods EN nz of time Constant use at low speeds may cause overheating The direction of rotation of the bit is controlled by a lever If this occurs cool the screwdriver by running it without a located above the switch trigger With the screwdriver held load and at full speed in normal operating position the direction of rotation lever should be positioned to the left of the switch for forward LOCK ON BUTTON driving operation The direction of rotation is in reverse when See Figure 3 the lever is to the right of the switch The screwdriver is equipped with a lock on feature which NOTE The screwdriver will not run unless fo

C BIT HOLDER KNOW YOUR DRYWALL SCREWDRIVER See Figure 1 Before attempting to use this product familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules SWITCH TRIGGER The switch trigger for your drywall screwdriver is conve niently located on the handle of the tool LOCK ON BUTTON The lock on feature allows for continuous driving of screws for extended periods of time VARIABLE SPEED The variable speed switch delivers higher speed with in creased trigger pressure FORWARD REVERSE LEVER The forward reverse lever changes the direction of bit rota tion gje e eee es 120 V 60 Hz AC only 6 5 Amps Not Welght etcetera eR ree cer err 3 1 Ibs FORWARD REVERSE LOCK ON LEVER BUTTON SWITCH TRIGGER LIGHTED PLUG Fig 1 DUAL GRIP HANDLE The soft grip handle is designed with two grip position op tions for operator comfort and ease of handling ADJUSTABLE NOSEPIECE Your screwdriver has an adjustable nosepiece for varying screw depth and easy bit changes MAGNETIC BIT HOLDER The magnet holds the screwdriver bit and screws until you are ready to drive them into drywall BELT CLIP A convenient belt clip is located on top of the motor hous ing POWER CORD Your drywall screwdriver has a 12 foot power cord with a built in cord wrap The shape of the plug is designed not to snag on your work LIGHTED PLUG The lighted plug helps to easily identify live tools ASSEMBLY UNP

DER AND BITS See Figure 2 To install or replace bits B Install 1 4 in screwdriver bits by inserting them into the magnetic bit holder NOTE It is not necessary to remove the adjustable nose piece to install or remove bits E Replace 1 4 in screwdriver bits by pulling them out of the magnetic bit holder To remove the magnetic bit holder B Pull the adjusting sleeve The adjusting sleeve and adjust able nosepiece come off the gear casing as a set B Remove the magnetic bit holder Pull the bit holder out with pliers if you cannot remove it by hand To reassemble the bit holder and nosepiece E Push the bit holder into the hex opening of the spindle until the ball lock snaps into the groove in the bit holder shank E Attach the adjustable nosepiece to the gear case Align the raised tab inside the adjustable nosepiece with the groove on the gear case and push the nosepiece until it snaps into place BELT CLIP GROOVE CASING Fig 2 OPERATION LOCK ON FORWARD BUTTON WARNING REVERSE LEVER Do not allow familiarity with tools to make you careless Remember that a careless fraction of a second is sufficient to inflict severe injury A WARNING Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields when operating tools Failure to do so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in possible serious injury _ _ SWITCH A WARNING TRIGGER Do not
