ON Important Do not open your radio to make any internal adjustments Your radio is set up to transmit a regulated signal on an assigned frequency It is against the law to alter or adjust the settings inside the radio to exceed those limitations Any adjustments to your radio must be made by a qualified technician using the proper test equipment To be safe and sure e Never open your radio s case e Never change or replace anything in your radio except the batteries This equipment complies with the limits for a Class B digital device as specified in Part 15 ia Speaker of FCC Rules These limits provide reason able protection against radio and TV inter ference in a residential area However your equipment might cause TV or radio interfer ence even when it is operating properly To eliminate interference you can try one or more of the following corrective measures e Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna e Increase the distance between the transceiver and the radio or TV Consult your local RadioShack store if the problem still exists o Microphone You can lock W and a so you can t change the channel until you unlock them To lock and unlock w and a hold down LIGHT LOCK for about 1 second o appears on the display when and a are locked RADIO CARE To enjoy your radio for a long time e Handle it gently e Keep it away from dust moisture and temperature extremes e Clean it with a
