Attention When connecting with a video deck be sure to use the one with a built in time base corrector TBC or use a TBC between the projector and the video deck f nonstandard burst signals are connected the image may be distorted If this is the case connect a TBC between the projector and the video deck For the specifications of the RGB signals that can be applied from the PC refer to List of compatible signals page 71 See Network operation in the instruction manual on the supplied CD ROM for the details of wired LAN communication between the projector and the computer 26 ENGLISH Powering ON OFF Connecting the power cord Be sure to insert the attached power cord securely to its base to prevent it from coming off Bl Power cord holder A power cord holder is designed to prevent the AC power cord from coming off the projector Please insert the power cord into the power cord holder correctly as Picture 1 shown AC Power cord holder Picture 1 ll Attaching Attach the AC power cord with the power cord clamps to the projector as follows Press the clamps on its sides and then insert the AC power cord with the power cord clamps securely to the projector as Picture 2 shown It is correctly attached until you hear the CLICK sound See Picture 3 for correct attachment o

4. e The Lamp replacement icon will not appear when the Display function is set to Off m page 53 or during Freeze page 34 or AV mute sm page 34 ENGLISH 63 Replacement B Replacing the Lamp unit CAUTION e When the projector is mounted on a ceiling do not work with your face close to the projector Attach the lamp unit and the lamp cover securely When you experience difficulty in installing the lamp remove it and try again If you use force to install the lamp the connector may be damaged Lamp cover 1 Turn off the Power by following the procedure in Turning off the projector page 31 Unplug the AC power cord Wait at least 45 minutes and make sure the lamp unit and surroundings are cool Lamp cover 2 Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the fixing scree lamp cover fixing screw and remove the lamp cover e Remove the lamp cover by pulling it slowly toward the direction of the arrow Handles 3 Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the two lamp unit fixing screws until the screws turn freely Hold the used lamp unit by its handles and pull it gently from the projector Lamp unit 4 Insert the new lamp unit in correct direction Tighten the two lamp unit fixing screws Lamp unit fixing screws securely with a Phillips screwdriver 5 Attach the lam

This projector provides 7 different remote control codes ALL Code 1 Code 6 Attention When operating the projector under ALL code you can operate several projectors at the same time If you want to operate the projector independently you must switch to other code When different codes are set on the projector and on the remote control any operation cannot be made In that case switch the code on the remote control to fit the code on the projector f the batteries are removed from the remote control for a long period of time the remote control code will be reset This function allows you to use the Key lock and PIN code lock function to set the security for the projector operation 1 Press A Y to select Security 2 Press gt or the SELECT button to access the submenu 56 ENGLISH H Key lock This function locks the control panel and remote control buttons to prevent operation by unauthorized persons 1 Press A Y to select the desired items as below ETO Unlocked Lock the operation of the control ap panel To unlock use the remote control Lock the operation of the remote Hp control To unlock use the control panel EE PIN code lock This function prevents the projector from being operated by unauthorized persons and provides the following setting options for security 1 Press A Y to select the desired items as below O
