3. check therecommended torque specifications for thenut Youshould use a torque wrench to torquethe nut afterusing the impactwrench Loosening 1 Attach thecorrect size socketto the anvil 2 Set thecompressor s pressure regulatorto 90 PSI Do not setthe compressor s outlet regulator above 90 PSI 3 Connect the tool tothe air compressor s hose If aleak is detected disconnect the air hose and fix it before use 4 Place thesocket overthe nut toloosen 5 Grip thetool firmly Press the REVERSE BUTTON 30 to REVERSE step Press the trigger to startthe tool Caution Make sure thenut or bolt canwithstand the impact wrench sworking torque NOTE If the toolcannot loosen thenut DO NOT raise the outlet pressure ofthe air compressor When the nutis moved stop the tool by releasingthe trigger andremove the tool from the nut Remove the nutfrom the socket if needed MAINTENANCE A N WARNING Always disconnectthe air supplybefore attempting any maintenance After disconnecting the air supply squeeze the triggerto make sure no airremains in the unit 1 After eachuse wipe downthe impact wrenchwith a lint freecloth Do notuse solvents or harshdetergents toclean the tool 2 Make surethe air inletis clean ofdirt grease or debis 3 of 4 Diagram Part No Description Qty Part No Description Qty 1 Housing 1 22 Bearing 2 2 O ring 1 23 Rear Gasket 1
4. before threadingit into theinlet Connect the 3 8 ID airsource hose not included to aquick disconnect coupler not included andthen to thetool 2 Set theair pressure onyour compressor to 90 PSI Do not exceed the recommended air pressure of 90 PSI 3 Check theair connection forleaks 4 Disconnect fromthe air hoseuntil next instructed to reconnect Note Turn off your air compressorand disconnect theair hose when you are changing sockets After you attach the socket notincluded attach the air hose andturn the air compressor on i Select the appropriate size 1 2 socket foryour needs ii Push and snapthe socketonto the anvil iii Tightening The max workingtorque ofthe impact wrenchis 300ft Ibs It canbe adjusted from 115 ft lbs to300ft lbs Make surethat the nutor bolt youare using thetool totighten can withstand therated torque 2 of 4 1 Tighten thenut as faras you canby hand 2 Place thesocket onthe nut Pressthe REVERSE BUTTON 430 to FORWARD 1 2 3 You canget the differenttorque on different steps SeeFig 2 1 Press thetrigger to startthe tool 115 ft Ibs 190 ft lbs 300 ft lbs NOTE When changing thestep stop pressing the trigger 9 then adjustthe reverse button 30 NOTE 1 If thetool stalls whiletightening DO NOT raise the outlet pressure ofthe air compressor above 90 PSI 2 When thenut has beentightened removethe tool andsocket Do not overtighten 3 If available
