4. ngert werden Andere Kabell ngen und oder Kabelmaterial ohne Armaturen sind auf Wunsch lieferbar Die akustischen Eigenschaften des Kunstkopfes wer den auch durch sehr lange Neumann Kabel nicht beeinflu t Erst bei einer Kabell nge deutlich ber 300 m macht sich ein Abfall im oberen Frequenz bereich bemerkbar 3 Stromversorgung Der Kunstkopf ist ca 10 s nach dem Einschalten der Stromversorgung betriebsbereit Er kann aus drei unterschiedlichen Quellen gespeist werden 3 1 Batteriespeisung Zum Einlegen oder Auswechseln von Batterien mu der Kunstkopf ge ffnet werden s Kap 2 3 Im oberen Kopfteil befindet sich eine herausnehmbare Halterung f r sechs Batterien vom LR 67 Gr e AA Mignon je 1 5 V Zu empfehlen ist die Verwendung hochwertiger Alkali Mangan Batte rien die aus Sicherheitsgr nden langer Betriebspausen aus dem KU 100 entfernt werden sollten Daf r kann der Batterieanschlu Druckknopf kontakte abgezogen und die gesamte Halterung her ausgenommen werden Zur Batteriespeisung mu der Schalter an der Kopf unterseite auf BATT geschaltet sein Mit frischen Batterien ist ein Dauerbetrieb von min destens 15 Stunden m glich Etwa eine Stunde bevor die Batterien die Stromver sorgung nicht mehr sicherstellen k nnen beginnt die rote Leuchtdiode Low Batt die sich am hinteren Halsansatz befindet zu blinken Die Leuchtdiode blinkt auch beim Einschal

17. hat the entire system can be checked electrically without the need to use an acoustic measuring room When assembling the parts please ensure that the contact pins of the microphone capsules are properly inserted into the respective forked contact at the face of the board the proper outer ears are snapped onto the ear adapters as indicated by the marks L left and R right on the central part the incoming cable is stored in the cable space below the cylindrical enclosure with the cable outlet of the central square pointing downwards to the cable space the connecting cable leading to the battery holder runs above the cylindrical enclosure so that the batteries can be removed without any problems Note The ear adapters are identical for the left and right ears i e not assigned to a particular ear The square enclosure of the output stage can be re moved from the front portion of the head after the two fixing screws have been removed In order to open the enclosure first remove the screws of the upper board rear panel and detach it Thereafter the lower board front panel includ ing the plug connectors etc can be unscrewed and pulled out carefully together with the complete internal components After the ears and the ear adapters have been re moved from the ear system it can be pushed through the enclosure of the output stage It is how ever also possible to pull the connecting cables lead ing

36. ur des Kunst kopfes oder des gesamten Aufnahmesystems gemes sen und notiert werden 7 Servicehinweise Zum normalen Gebrauch mu der Kunstkopf nur zum Einlegen bzw zum Wechseln der Batterien oder zum Bet tigen des Hochpa filters oder des D mpfungsschalters ge ffnet werden Siehe dazu Kapitel 2 3 F r Servicearbeiten ist eventuell ein ffnen auch des Ohrsystems und der Ausgangsstufe erforderlich Das Ohrsystem besteht aus den beiden Au en ohren und dem zylindrischen Geh use zwischen den Ohren Dieses ist jeweils neben den Au enohren im Vorderkopf eingeschnappt und kann komplett heraus gehoben werden Die Au enohren sind auf das zylindrische Geh use aufgeschnappt und lassen sich ohne Werkzeug ab ziehen Dann werden die Ohradapter mit dem Ohr kanal frei Sie k nnen jeweils von den zylindrischen Geh userohren und diese ihrerseits vom mittleren Vierkant abgeschraubt werden so da die Platine mit den Impedanzwandlern IC 101 IC 102 und Filter stufen zug nglich wird Achtung Auf keinen Fall darf mit dem Finger auf die Gabel kontakte und auf die brigen anderen hochohmi gen Teile in diesem Bereich gefa t werden da geringste Schmutz und Fettr ckst nde die Isola tion herabsetzen und St rspannungen verursachen k nnen In den Ohradaptern befindet sich jeweils die Konden sator Mikrophonkapsel und ein akustisches Anpaf3 filter Diese Ohradapter obwohl aus mehreren Teilen zusammengesetz
37. ylindrischen Geh use verstaut wird und daf r der Kabelaustritt aus dem Vierkant Mittelteil nach unten in den Stauraum zeigt das Anschlu kabel zur Batteriehalterung oberhalb des zylindrischen Geh uses verl uft damit der Batteriesatz bequem herausgenommen werden kann Die Ohradapter sind f r das linke und f r das rechte Ohr identisch sind also keinem Ohr besonders zugeordnet Das viereckige Geh use der Ausgangsstufe kann aus dem Vorderkopf herausgenommen werden wenn die beiden Befestigungsschrauben entfernt worden sind Um das Geh use zu ffnen mu erst die obere Platte abgeschraubt und herausgehoben werden Anschlie end kann die untere Platte mit den Steck verbindern etc abgeschraubt und mitsamt dem kom pletten Innenaufbau vorsichtig herausgezogen werden Wenn die Ohren und die Ohradapter vom Ohr system abgenommen sind kann dieses durch das Geh use der Ausgangsstufe hindurchgeschoben werden Es k nnen aber auch die Anschlu leitungen zum Ohrsystem von der Ausgangsstufe abgezogen werden wenn zuvor die Schelle zu deren Zug entlastung von der Platine abgeschraubt worden ist Both ear adapters are carefully matched by the manufacturer in all relevant characteristics Therefore both ear adapters should be returned to the factory whenever any repair work is necessary The ear adapters can be replaced by the MA 84 KU 100 test adapter It is then possible to feed a modulation voltage into the test adapter so t
