MOTOSTART HS815 Bluetooth Handsfree Headset Get Connected in 4 Quick Steps 1 CHARGE 2 START BLUETOOTH amp 3 PAIR 4 TEST AND USE For help contact us at 1 877 MOTOBLU or visit us at www hellomoto com BEFORE YOU BEGIN Before using this product read the Important Safety and Legal Information pamphlet and follow its instructions Take a moment before you get started to familiarize yourself with your new HS815 Headset Earhook Charging Port Call Button Indicator Light Microphone p o Volume Buttons o side CHARGE De Your Headset s Battery Y Release Tab Down 1 Plug the Motorola charger into the end of the headset with the release tab facing down The indicator light turns on when the battery is charging It may take up to 1 minute for the indicator light to turn on When the headset s battery is fully charged about 2 hours the indicator light turns off 2 Disconnect the charger Note Headset is not functional while charging START BLUETOOTH FEATURE Your Phone Your phone s Bluetooth feature is off by default To use your headset turn on the Bluetooth feature in your phone For most Motorola phones 1 Select Menu gt Settings gt Connection gt Bluetooth Link gt Setup Scroll to Power Select Change Scroll to On a A W N Press Select to turn on the Bluetooth feature The Bluetooth feature remains on until you turn it

3. with your phone the indicator light changes from steadily lit to flashing o A ww N Note These steps are for most Motorola phones For other phones see your phone s user s guide 4 TEST AND USE Your phone and headset are now paired and ready to make and receive calls To make a call 1 Place the headset over your ear 2 On your phone dial the number you want to call and press the SEND key 3 If your phone and headset are successfully paired you will hear ringing on the headset After you have successtully paired your phone and headset you don t need to repeat these steps For daily use ensure that your headset is turned ON and that your phone s Bluetooth feature is ON To save battery power turn OFF the headset when you don t use it for an extended time USING YOUR HS815 See Features and Functions Guide on the reverse side for information on using your HS815 TROUBLESHOOTING My phone doesn t find my headset Make sure the indicator light on your headset is on and steady when your phone is searching for devices see step 3 My headset worked before but now it s not working Make sure your phone is on and the Bluetooth feature is turned on in your phone see step 2 If the Bluetooth feature was turned off or was turned on only temporarily you may need to restart the Bluetooth feature see step 2 and pair your phone and headset again see step 3 Support If you need mo

5. re help contact us at 1 877 MOTOBLU FOR DETAILS ABOUT YOUR HANDSFREE DEVICE See the user s guide or visit us at www hellomoto com bluetooth and click Support HS815 Bluetooth Handsfree Headset 1 IMPORTANT Be sure to first follow the instructions on the reverse side to complete initial setup of your HS815 TURNING ON AND OFF To turn on the headset press and hold the Call button on your headset until the indicator light begins flashing The indicator light blinks when the power is on To turn off the headset press and hold the Call button on your headset for 5 seconds The indicator light will flash rapidly and then stop flashing Call Button Indicator Light WEARING THE HEADSET 1 Open the earhook 2 Loop the earhook over your ear 3 Press the headset to your ear 4 Point the microphone toward your mouth CHANGING FOR USE ON OTHER EAR You can wear your HS815 headset on your left or right ear To change ear orientation simply flip the earhook all the way over ADJUSTING VOLUME To adjust the volume on your headset press the Volume Up or Volume Down button until you reach the desired volume level Volume Buttons When increasing or decreasing speaker volume a single audio tone is heard when reaching maximum or minimum level MAKING CALLS Function Action Make a voice dial call Tap the Call button and speak the name afte
