B0108 Instruction Sheet Number IS FB31 14 Page 1 of 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR BRISA LINEAR 3 BOW SURFACE MOUNT Read and understand these instructions before installing luminaire This luminaire is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical inspector before installation To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference IMPORTANT ALL FB SERIES FIXTURES ARE J BOX MOUNTING ONLY LUMINAIRE INSTALLATION FIG 1 1 Pull SUPPLY WIRES from 4 OCTAGONAL J BOX supplied by others through hole in MOUNTING PLATE Secure MOUNTING PLATE to 4 OCTAGONAL J BOX using screws provided with 4 OCTAGONAL J BOX 2 Pull SUPPLY WIRES through center hole in LENS ASSEMBLY MAUL CE UING BACK PAN 3 Insert tabs from J BOX COVERS into slots on KEPS NUT MOUNTING PLATE to enclose 4 OCTAGONAL J BOX BALLAST SOCKET TRAY 4 While holding J BOX COVERS in place secure BACK PAN to MOUNTING PLATE BACK PAN J BOX COVER using 2 screws provided 5 While supporting BALLAST SOCKET TRAY Make electrical connections Black lead to hot Black supply lead White lead to neutral White supply lead Uninsulated wire is a ground wire and must be connected to grounding terminal or ground Green supply o lead Note Make2. cal shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference LENS ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION FIG 2 amp FIG 3 1 Align LENS ASSEMBLY with LUMINAIRE ASSEMBLY End with SOCKET CAP SCREW in LENS ASSEMBLY should be opposite end of BALLAST SOCKET TRAY with 2 tabs 2 Angle LENS ASSEMBLY FIG 2 3 Slide bottom edge of LENS ASSEMBLY END CAPS under TABS of BALLAST SOCKET TRAY FIG 3 4 Rotate LENS ASSEMBLY down so that it sits against BACK PAN FIG 3 5 Tighten down SOCKET HEAD CAP SCREW LENS ASSEMBLY END CAP LENS ASSEMBLY Eee BACK PAN A SOCKET HEAD TP CAP SCREW LUMINAIRE ASSEMBLY WIOLHSi FIG 3 FIG 2 Lightolier a Genlyte Company www lightolier com 631 Airport Road Fall River Ma 02720 508 679 8131 Fax 508 674 4710 We reserve the right to change details of design materials and finish a el
