INSTRUCTION SHEET NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION IS 41 7 0 FIXTURES COVERED BY THIS INSTRUCTION SHEET 4170 amp 4171 N READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING FIXTURE This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code and local regulations To assure full compliance with local codes and regulations check with your local electrical inspector before installation To prevent electrical shock turn off electricity at fuse box before proceeding Retain these instructions for maintenance reference 1 Thread MOUNTING STUDS into CROSSBAR Attach CROSSBAR to OUTLET BOX with OUTLET BOX SCREWS 7 OUTLET BOX 2 Make connections Black fixture lead or fixture TE 4 lead without tracer mark to black supply lead ice lee eT WIRE NUT white fixture lead or fixture lead with tracer mark to white supply lead Uninsulated wire is ee op a GROUND WIRE and must be attached to cope H grona terminal or Sar aa in ioe CROSSBAR om Use WIRE NUTS local hardware item INSULATI Piace connections in OUTLET BOX QUITE at A 3 Place CANOPY SUB ASSEMBLY over MOUNTING een e SAOR SY MOUNTING STUDS and tighten with CAP a end SE E SCREWS CAP SCREW 2 ds p 4 install recommended lamps SUSPENSION HOD A 5 Attach GLASS SHADE by looping WIRE HARPS carefully over MOUNTING HOOKS Fig 2 oa MfOOK 6 Check to make sure GLASS SHADE is level A gt LEVEL2.
