7. obe covers are used U Clean the thermometer using isopropyl alcohol or soap and water LJ Store the unit in the protective case while not in use U Do not store or k p in direct sunlight or in high temperatures U Do not drop the thermorrete as this may damage the unit WHAT IS A NORMAL TEMPERATURE Temperature readings vary among individuals A normal temperature refers to each individua 5 average temperature while they are well Normal average temperatures range from 97 F 36 1 C to 100 F 37 7 C when taken ordly Ord undeam and retd tarpperdures very by qoproximetdy 1 F 0 5 C A rectal temperature is considered your real or core body tem perature A rectal temperature is 1 F 0 5 C higher than an ora reading and an underarm temperature is 1 F 0 5 C lower than an ord reading TO RECALL THE LAST TEMPERATURE 1 Press the START button to turn on the unit The last measured temper ature will be shown in the display with the letter M shown under the degree sign for aoproximetely 3 seconds 2 The thamomeer will bein ready to meesure mode and the recdled temperdture will be erased Note If the device is switch off before com pletion of temperature the thermometer automatically goes to ready to measure mode CLEANING AND DISINFECTING The thermometer is 100 waterproof and may be immersed in water or disinfectant solution for cleaning It is recommended that you use one of the disinfectants
