SAP Second Audio Program Recording Some stations transmit a Second Audio Program which is used for a second language or additional information When the station broadcasts a Second Audio Program follow the procedure below to record the SAP 1 Insert a video cassette with the anti erasure safety tab intact 2 Set the BROADCAST TYPE option to SAP SETUP menu Do this if only the SAP appears on the TV screen or you know the program will use the SAP FUNCTION OSD ON LANGUAGE SELECT ENGLISH AUDIO MODE HI FI BROADCAST TYPE SAP AUDIO OUTPUT STEREO BMSELECT RA ADJUST TO EXIT PRESS BE 3 Press MENU 4 Select the desired recording speed SP or SLP with SPEED 5 Select the desired channel SAP should appear on the TV screen 6 Press REC ITR once You are now recording the program you see and hear on the TV 7 Press STOP W twice to stop recording c pe ar 4 Sn ol Tape Counter Memory Feature Real Time Counter Shows length of tape run in hours minutes and seconds Press CLK CNT to select the real time counter display Every press of CLK CNT changes the TV screen display as illustrated below 2 15 AM ad 0 05 25 a REM 1 07 CLOCK COUNTER REMAINING TIME e Counter changes to 0 00 00 when the cassette is ejected e The real time counter does not operate if nothing is recorded on the tape e The real time counter will not work unless a tape is inserted

Notes e To ensure good system performance wait until the disc tray completely read the disc s before proceeding The Home Theater System is only able to read the status of the current selected disc tray TO REPLACE DISCS DURING PLAYBACK You are able to replace or load a disc into the other four trays without interrupting current playback While playback press OPEN SEL CLOSE and press the desired DISC 1 5 on the unit to open disc tray refer to TO INSERT DISCS Notes e If you press OPEN SEL CLOSE of the active disc tray the disc will stop playing and the disc tray will slide out e Once the disc tray is opened it will be deselected e Do not place more than one compact disc on one disc tray at the same time e Do not push the drawer to close the one as you may damage the unit TO PLAY ALL DISCS ON THE DISC TRAYS Press PLAY on the remote control or on the unit All the available discs will play once then stop Tip During playback track number and elapsed playing time of the current track will appear in the display window Note e This function is not available during Repeat playback or Programmed playback mode c pe ar 4 Sn Q General Features Note Unless stated otherwise all operations described use the remote control Some features may also be available on the Setup menu MOVING TO ANOTHER TITLE GROUP When a disc has more than one title group you c
