Reset the Controller card to activate new IP settings If you are ready to reset the HCS6300 immediately click on the Reset button located below the results text Note If you intend to modify additional configuration settings during the current session you may wait until all changes are complete before you reset the HCS6300 see Perform an External Card Reset on page 24 for further information however note that IP settings will not take effect until the HCS6300 resets Change the Reload Pro ldiom Key Password This option enables you to change the password required to reload the Pro Idiom key on selected transcoders The default password is service 1 2 3 4 With the Controller Menu on display click on the Change button at the right of the Change Reload P I Key Password field The system will initiate a series of password prompts in pop up windows Atthe Enter the Current Password prompt type the current password and click OK Atthe Enter New Password prompt type the new password and click OK Atthe Confirm New Password prompt retype the new password and click OK When the password is successfully changed the system will display confirmation for example Password changed 206 4122 23 Configuration Options via GUI Cont Update HCS6300 and or Transcoder Firmware via TFTP If you are not sure of the current firmware version view and record the System Information for the HCS6300 and

14. clock format at which the auto tune will run Then press Enter Make sure to choose a time when TVs are not likely to be in use as the picture will change for approximately 20 seconds during the auto tune Note If you type an invalid entry at any of the auto tune settings prompts the system will retain the existing settings and return immediately to the Satellite Receiver Menu Repeat steps 3 to 6 to configure all of the settings Atthe Enter the primary tune to channel prompt enter an HD MPEG 4 channel from the subscribed channel lineup as the primary auto tune channel Then press Enter Atthe Enter the secondary tune to channel prompt enter an HD MPEG 4 channel from the subscribed channel lineup as the secondary auto tune channel Then press Enter If the transcoder is set to the primary auto tune channel the secondary channel will be used for auto tuning After you enter the secondary channel the system will display confirmation Auto tune set OK Without further user intervention Any modifications to auto tune time or channel settings or a change from enabled to disabled status will take effect after the current auto tune cycle is completed For example if auto tune was previously scheduled for 5 AM and you just disabled auto tuning the changes will not take effect until after the next 5 AM auto tune cycle completes If you enabled auto tuning after it had been previously disabled the change
