4. cal injuries 1 Insert the power plug into the power socket 2 Press and hold the On Off switch with the thumb At the same time press the safety switch with the other fingers D Note The electric knife only runs when the On Off switch and the safety switch are pressed at the same time 3 Guide the blade 0 0 through the foodstuff to be cut A Important Never operate the electric knife for longer than 15 minutes without a break When the 15 minutes of continuous use is reached leave the appliance switched off until the motor has cooled down completely Otherwise the appliance could be irreparably damaged by overheating 4 Release the safety switch and the On Off switch when the cutting task has been completed Removing the blades 1 Remove the power plug from the power socket 2 To remove the blades 0 0 from the blade insert slot firmly hold the blades by the finger protection grips 3 Press the blade release button 4 Carefully remove the blades 0 0 from the blade insert slot Cleaning A Important Before cleaning ALWAYS remove the power plug from the wall socket and the blades 0 from the appliance A Important NEVER submerse the motor block in wa ter Risk of electric shock Clean the blades with hot water and detergent Afterwards dry them well Wipe the motor unit with a lightly moistened cloth only For stubborn soiling apply some mild detergent
