3. unless you live in an area which does not observe the Daylight Saving time change NOTE The batteries will become weak after time so replace the batteries as needed To avoid re program the time and alarm settings we recommend leaving the unit plugged in when changing the batteries 8 SETTING THE CLOCK In case the back up batteries are accidentally removed You will need to set the clock manually If the LED display is blinking 1 In standby mode press the UP button to increase or press the DOWN button to decrease the minutes setting 2 Press and hold the UP DOWN button to fast forward backward the clock setting 3 Press the BAND SET button or waiting 5 seconds to confirm the setting If the LED display is steady 1 In standby mode press and hold BAND SET button for seconds AM or PM indicator flashes on LED display 2 Press the UP button to increase or press the DOWN button to decrease the minutes setting 3 Press and hold the UP DOWN button to fast forward backward the clock setting 4 Press the BAND SET button again to confirm NOTE There are AM and PM indicators located in the left hand corner of the clock display Be sure to observe the correct AM PM indicator when setting the alarm to make sure the wake time is set correctly for AM or PM LISTENING TO RADIO 1 Switch AUX IN RADIO selector to select radio mode 2 Press the ON OFF button once to turn on the unit display shows FM or AM frequenc
