7. 2 Press down on the bottom cover with your thumbs and then push it until it locks into place You ll hear a click when the bottom cover is locked in place 1 Unboxing SIM card The SIM card contains your phone number service details and memory for storing phonebook contacts and or text messages 1 Take the bottom cover off 2 With the SIM card s gold contacts facing down and its cut off corner facing out insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot iz Make sure to switch off HTC One V before removing your SIM card 1 Take the bottom cover off 2 Slide the SIM card out from the SIM card slot 12 Unboxing Storage card Use a storage card to store your photos videos and music 1 Take the bottom cover off 2 Insert the microSD card into the storage card slot with its gold contacts facing down and push it into place When you need to remove the storage card while HTC One V is on unmount the storage card first to prevent corrupting or damaging the files in the storage card 1 Slide the Notifications panel open and then tap 2 Tap Storage gt Unmount storage card Removing the storage card 1 Take the bottom cover off 2 Slide the storage card out from its slot 13 Unboxing Charging the battery Before you turn on and start using HTC One V it is recommended that you charge the battery Only the power adapter and USB cable provided in the box must be used
