1. gigatent THE NEXT LEVEL IN CAMPING WWW GIGATENT COM GT004 The Party Tent 20 x 10 x 132 H OWNER S MANUAL IMPORTANT We strongly suggest setting up your new tent before going camping to insure that all parts are present and to familiarize yourself with the tents assembly This will have a great effect on how well you enjoy your camping trip Manufactured in our state of the art factory in China Assembly instructions Frame Parts Frame assembly X1 Step 1 TENT SET UP Warning Trying to force the frame open will result in broken cross pieces NEVER force the frame to open 1 Carefully remove the frame from the carry bag and stand upright 2 Starting at one corner pull the frame apart Figure A being careful not to over stress the cross pieces Set up will be easier and faster when you have more than 1 person 3 Move from leg to leg while pulling the frame apart Make sure that the center pole does not get caught and that it is free to move up through the upper hub 4 Before you open the frame too far it is wise to drape the canopy top over the 2 center poles Figure B before they get too high to reach Simply drape the canopy top over the center poles and continue to open the frame 5 When the lower hub has reached the midway point on the legs you can carefully push up on them until the h

Center Frame Top Hub Misc Parts Canopy Top iets Tent Bag ra Stake Bag EN Corner Leg Perimeter Frame Center Leg Center Frame Center Pole Top View of Frame Tips and Tricks When using the canopy on hard surfaces such as concrete weights may be substituted for stakes Care must be taken as the canopy will not be as stable as if it were staked The legs have different height settings and will allow the canopy to be tilted slightly to provide the most protection from the elements Do not collapse the frame with the canopy top attached as this can allow the fabric to be damaged Remove the canopy top prior to fully collapsing the frame In sandy soil a longer and wider stake will hold best Even better use a deadman anchor made out of a piece of wood with a loop of rope around it and buried in the sand with the other end tied to the canopy When using the canopy in heavy rains be sure that water does not start to collect on top as this will cause damage to the frame Use the guylines and velcro to maintain proper tension on the canopy top Ultra Violet UV Exposure Your tent is made of UV resistant polyester fabric which is resistant but NOT impervious to the damaging effects of long term sun exposure We DO NOT suggest long term set up of ANY of our products as this will severely damage the tent fabric Seam Sealing Gigatent suggests that ata MINIMUM the seams at the bottom

5. damage to the canopy and frame This is extremely important when the canopy is being used on a hard surface such as a driveway or concrete Weights such as sand bags or bricks can be used in place of stakes In very heavy torrential rain care must be taken to insure that water does not collect on the canopy top as this added weight will cause damage to the frame The canopy should NOT be left without first detaching the canopy from the frame and allowing it to fall INSIDE the frame to reduce the risk of collecting rain water or the canopy can be taken down Step 4 TAKING the CANOPY DOWN 1 Pull up all of the stakes 2 Undo all of the Velcro tabs holding the canopy top to the frame 3 Lower the legs to the lowest height by pushing in on the locking button located at the top of the lower leg 4 Unlock the lower hub on all of the legs by pushing in on the locking button located on the inside of the hub and partially collapse the frame 5 Remove the canopy top to prevent damage from the frame 6 Fully collapse the frame Warning The canopy top should be removed from the frame to prevent the frame from damaging the material Replacement Parts Review your parts list above to make sure all parts listed above have been included on your package MODEL GT 004 Frame Parts Qty comerte 4 comerte gt Perimeter Frame 24 centerFrame 16 ca ra Center Pole top Center Pole bottom
6. encounter with your new tent If you are still having problems with your purchase please contact us at 973 709 1111 or email us at info gigatent com Troubleshooting Guide PROBLEM SOLUTION Condensation is caused by lower temperatures outside the tent which causes moisture vapor from humidity inside the tent and sleepers respiration Condensation to form water droplets on the walls and is mostly is visible in the corners To prevent this from happening keep all objects away from the walls and open up windows to allow the moisture to escape To avoid mildew which can damage a tents waterproofing be sure to never store your tent damp or worse wet If mildew occurs you can use a product such as McNett Mirazyme to clean your tent or you can use a simple 50 50 solution of Lemon Juice Concentrate and water to wash the area After this you will want to wash the area with soap and water and then let it dry COMPLETELY before storing Tears and small holes can be fixed temporarily by using an adhesive patch kit found in most Camping Stores For long term patches it is best to bring your tent to a repair facility or for minor repairs you can use Seam Grip sold by the holes McNett company Simply follow the instructions on the package and this will provide a durable permanent patch Tears or small Zippers have 2 parts the slider which is the part that opens and closes the zipper and the zipper teeth What normally happens is the zipper separates

8. of the windows should be sealed using a product like McNetts Seam Sure to prevent moisture from coming through the needle holes Follow the manufacturer s instructions when applying seam sealer Storage DO NOT under any circumstances store your tent wet or damp Mildew will quickly destroy a tents waterproof coating Allow your tent to dry and then store ina cool dry place Structural Integrity Although the tent was constructed to rigid specifications periods of wind and soaking rain may loosen the stakes and guylines to the point of allowing the rainfly to flap This can in turn cause the poles to loosen weakening the overall structure Loosening of the rainfly can also create pockets that can collect water which can lead to pole failure To insure that this does not occur take care during windy or rainy conditions that all of the stakes and guylines are secure and tight Washing Your Tent NEVER machine wash a tent as this can cause damage to the waterproof coating Hand wash with a mild soap and rinse with clean water and allow to COMPLETELY dry before storing An extremely dirty tent can be set up and washed like a car or it can be washed in a bathtub using your hands to agitate the water or a soft brush gigatent THE NEXT LEVEL IN CAMPING Thank you for purchasing a quality product from GIGATENT This troubleshooting guide is designed to help you sort out some of the possible problems you might
