1. C IMPORTANT Only use toner cartridges intended for use in this machine You cannot insert the toner cartridge not intended for use in this machine because the shape of the toner cartridge does not match the toner supply port of the machine Insert the toner cartridge horizontally into the machine Otherwise the toner cartridge may leak 124 Turn the locking lever to the left until it stops and close the toner replacement cover 1 Turn the locking lever to the left until it stops 2 Close the toner replacement cover The toner confirmation screen is displayed Ay caution When closing the toner replacement cover be careful not to get your fingers caught as this may result in personal injury C IMPORTANT Make sure to turn the locking lever to the left until it stops Otherwise you may not be able to close the toner replacement cover 125 JuULu JUILEW UNNOY i Routine Cleaning If the original is not copied clearly or streaks appear on printed output clean the following parts of the machine For high quality printouts we recommend cleaning these parts once or twice a month Platen glass Underside of the feeder Wires Drums If the touch panel display becomes dirty and the screen may not be seen clearly clean the touch panel display Since the touch panel display becomes dirty from normal use we recommend that you clean it on

Ifyou print on the paper which has absorbed moisture steam may come out from the output area of the machine This is because the moist on the paper evaporates when the high temperature is applied when a toner is fixed to the paper It is not a malfunction This especially happens in low room temperature 67 a2ueUa UIeW UNNOY iN Adjusting a Paper Drawer to Hold a Different Paper Size If you want to load a different size paper into a paper drawer follow the procedure described below to adjust the paper drawer guides A caution When handling paper take care not to cut your hands on the edges of the paper Remove the paper loaded in the paper drawer 1 Press the open button on the paper drawer for which you want to adjust the paper size 2 Grip the handle and pull out the paper drawer until it stops 3 Remove all of the remaining paper 1 Slide the left guide while squeezing it on the top to align it with the mark for the desired paper size 2 Slide the front guide while squeezing it on the top to align it with the mark for the desired paper size mere LL TUL Eal C IMPORTANT Slide the guides until they click into place If the left guide and front guide are not aligned correctly the paper size will not correctly appear on the touch panel display It is also necessary to adjust the guides correctly to avoid causing a paper jam dirty prints or making the inside of the machine
