7. ount of cold H water E 5 Place the jug on the power base 6 Turn the funnel around on its axis to fit it on the jug Note Wetting the seal facilitates fitting of the funnel 9 Ensure that the filter snaps audibly in position 8 Place the filter in the funnel a COFFEE PREPARATION 10 Place the desired amount of ground coffee in the funnel We recommend one BODUM scoop 7g 0 25 oz per BODUM coffee cup 1 25 dl 4 oz 13 As soon as there is no water left in the funnel the coffee is ready 16 Hold the jug firmly by the handle and tip the funnel aside slightly Warning Hot parts Lift the jug only by the handle 11 Place the cover on the funnel 14 A funnel holder is integrated in the power base Press lightly on the Swing ihe 12 Press the switch marked ON at the side of the machine The switch will light up to show that the machine is switched on Caution The unit will become hot and steam may escape from the Openings in the cover 15 Turn the swing out wards from the power base 17 Place the funnel on the funnel holder on the power base or else in the sink 18 The coffee can now be enjoyed CLEANING Remove the cover from the funnel and discard the coffee grounds Remove the filter from the funnel Rinse and clean the funnel and filter with water Both parts a
