Super freeze function at least 4 hours before defrosting to ensure frozen food retains its cold reserve for longer when taken out of the freezer m Remove the frozen food from the freezer and place it in another freezer or cool box or wrap it in several layers of newspaper or cloths and store in a cool place until the freezer is ready for use again m Remove all the freezer drawers and glass cold plates from the freezer 26 To defrost Carry out the defrosting procedure as quickly as possible if food has not been placed in another freezer The longer the food is left out at room temperature the faster it defrosts m Switch the appliance off m Disconnect it from the mains m Open the freezer door To speed up defrosting a bowl containing hot water not boiling can be placed in the appliance Closing the door in this instance will help retain the warmth and speed up the defrosting process We do not recommend the use of hot air blowers such as hairdryers for defrosting your appliance Do not use a steam cleaning appliance to aid the defrosting process Steam could reach electrical components and cause a short circuit Never place electric heaters or candles in the appliance to defrost it These can damage the plastic parts Defrosting Do not use defrosting sprays or de icers as they could contain substances which could damage the plastic parts and which may cause a build up of gases and pose a dang

10. right hand m Unscrew upper hinge pin 4 and refit hinged If left hand door hinging is it on the other side required follow the instructions below atake daie noi seme m Close edo m Remove the cover at the top left of the door and refit it on the opposite side m Unscrew lower hinge bracket and remove m Fit the appliance door from below onto upper hinge pin and then m Take hinge pin out of hinge close the appliance door bracket then refit in the other hole of the hinge bracket m Then lift the door down and off m Screw hinge bracket into the lower door bearing m Remove cover 3 and use it to cover the now empty holes on the opposite side m Use the long slots in the hinge bracket to align the door Make sure you have tightened all screws properly 41 Changing the door hinging m Turn the handle 180 and fit to the m Carefully remove cover and opposite side stoppers from the sides using a m First screw it at the side and then in flatheaded screwdriver the middle m Slide cover over to the left and m In the same way replace cover then insert a suitable plastic or and stoppers on the opposite wooden tool 4 into the gap on the side right hand side 2 m Replace middle cover by pushing m Carefully lever cover out it in first on the left hand side and then on the right Be careful not to let the tool slip causing damage to the applia
