Maintenance SmartEco Saves up to 30 lamp power consumption depending on the content brightness level CT There is a time delay between lamp mode instances Setting Auto Power Off This function allows the projector to turn off automatically if no input source is detected after a set period of time to prevent unnecessary waste of lamp life To set Auto Power Off go into the SYSTEM SETUP Basic gt Auto Power Off menu and press lt 4 gt The time period can be set from 5 to 30 minutes in 5 minute increments If the preset time lengths are not suitable for your presentation select Disable The projector will not automatically shut down in a certain time period Timing of replacing the lamp When the Lamp indicator lights up red or a message appears suggesting it is time to replace the lamp please install a new lamp or consult your dealer An old lamp may cause a malfunction in the projector and in some instances the lamp may explode Total equivalent lamp hour 75 hours used in Normal mode 40 hours used in Economic mode 00 hours Go to http www benq com for a replacement lamp A The Lamp indicator light and Temperature warning light will light up if the lamp becomes too hot Turn the projector off and let the projector cool for 45 minutes If the lamp or Temp indicator still lights up after turning the power back on please contact your dealer See Indicators on page 73 for details The fol
