The SurfTab is delivered with a built in GPS module as well as a car cradle and a car charging cable This makes it perfect for navigation purposes Mounting the car cradle a Connect the two parts of the car cradle i Make sure the tab on the suction cup is facing upwards Place the mounting plate on the designated hooks and push it to the left until the hooks slot in b Now place your SurfTab onto the mounting plate and slide it to the left as far as it will go Gentiv push it so it sticks to the recessed grip above Make sure that all three fixing points of the retaining plate have slotted into the recesses on the SurfTab c Attach the car cradle to your car s windscreen by moving the lever towards the suction cup mount ev Navigating with the SurfTab With the pre installed standard navigation app or an appropriate app of your choice you can use your SurfTab for navigation i An appropriate application can be selected in the Google Play Store First you need to provide your location information To do this go to Location Access under SETTINGS a Tap Location access and drag the slider on the right of Access To MY LOCATION S ON b This will open the Location consent window Give permission to use your location by tapping Acree i Once you have confirmed this option both GPS sarettires and Wi Fi amp MOBILE NETWORK LOCATION will be activated at the same time Blue check marks
