1. 2006 10 CHEVROLET IMPALA IMPALA SS 1 Using a panel removal tool remove the trim around the radio 2 Remove 6 7mm hex screws securing the factory radio Lift away disconnect and remove 2006 07 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO 1 Using a panel removal tool remove the trim around the radio and climate controls 2 Extract 2 Phillips Head screws securing the HVAC controls to the dash Remove the HVAC controls 3 Extract 4 Phillips Head Screws securing the radio to the dash Disconnect and remove 2007 10 CHEVROLET SILVERADO LT Dash type 1 1 Remove 2 screws located above instrument gauge cluster 2 Using a panel removal tool pry away instrument cluster top cover panel 3 Using a panel removal tool pry away radio HVAC control panel 4 Remove 4 screws securing the radio 2007 10 CHEVROLET SILVERADO LTZ Dash type 2 1 Using a panel removal tool pry away the radio HVAC trim bezel 2 Remove 2 screws securing lower HVAC control panel 3 Remove 2 screws securing upper HVAC control panel 4 Remove 4 screws securing the radio 2008 09 HUMMER H2 1 Using a panel removal tool carefully pry away radio AC vent dash bezel 2 Disconnect electrical connections and remove radio AC vent dash bezel 3 Remove 4 screws that secure the radio to the dash cavity 4 Disconnect electrical connectors and remove radio 2007 09 SUZUKI XL7 Using a panel removal tool unclip the shifter leather boot Extract
2. 1 screw securing the shifter console panel Using a panel removal tool unsnap shifter console panel and without removing lift amp rotate out of the way Unsnap trim bezel around radio using a panel removal tool and remove Extract 4 screws securing the radio unplug and remove controls anon MOUNTING THE STEREO SINGLE DIN MOUNTING 1 2 3 Reconnect stereo screw and secure stereo kit assembly _ A Finish dash reassembly Attach the 6552 pocket to 6716 panel using 2 screws supplied Attach the 6717 and 6718 brackets to 6716 panel using 4 screws supplied Align and screw aftermarket stereo to 6717 and 6718 brackets using screws supplied with aftermarket stereo Note If no hardware is supplied with aftermarket stereo use hardware from factory stereo DIN STEREO to dash using the removed 4 Phillips head screws 6718 LEFT BRACKET 6717 RIGHT BRACKET 6716 PANEL 6552 POCKET ASSEMBLY DOUBLE DIN MOUNTING 1 2 Attach the 6717 and 6718 brackets to 6716 panel using 4 screws supplied REAR SUPPORT Align and screw aftermarket double din stereo to 6717 and 6718 brackets BRACKETS using screws supplied with aftermarket stereo Note If no hardware is supplied with aftermarket stereo use hardware from factory stereo Reconnect stereo screw and secure stereo kit assembly to dash using the removed 4 Phillips head screws Finish dash reassembly bje DOUBLE
