HACER UN TEST Despues de haber selecionado el sitio para fijar el sistema de alarma se puede realizar un test para comprobar el espacio a proteger walk test 1 Hacer un test en el espacio a proteger figura 4 y 5 Ponga el interruptor en posici n alarm El sistema se encuentra en la posici n walk test 2 Muevamase por el espacio a proteger el indicador LED se iluminar cuando detecte movimientos en el espacio a proteger Cuando usted se encuentre fuera del espacio a proteger el indicador LED se apagar En el momento que usted entre de nuevo al espacio a proteger el indicador LED se iluminara de nuevo 3 Despues de haber hecho un test en el espacio a proteger salga del espacio Esperese 2 minutos antes de entrar de nuevo en el espacio Cuando el indicador LED no se ilumine usted esta detectado como un intruso y la sirena sonar durante 60 segundos Si usted entra en el espacio y el indicador LED se ilumina de nuevo no ha esperado sufisientemente y el sistema se encuentra a n el la posici n walk test 4 Ponga el interruptor en la posici n off para apagar el sistema y terminar el walk test 5 Utilice el ejemplo figura 6 para fijar el sistema de alarma Cuelgue el sistema encima de de los clavos y deslizelo hacia abajo FUNCIONAMIENTO El detector de movimientos DESQ 2008 tiene dos sonidos a elegir sirena o campana La selecci n puede hacerse atraves del interruptor SIRENA 1 Para activar el
4. beyond the detection range the LED will go out and remain off If you walk back into the detection area the LED indicator will illuminate 3 After testing the detection area leave the room Wait for at least 2 minutes and go back into the room If the LED indicator does not go on you have been detected as an intruder The alarm siren will sound approximately 60 seconds If the LED indicator goes on again you have not waited long enough and the unit is still in the walk test mode 4 Slide the switch to OFF position the unit is now disarmed and testing is completed 5 Using the template provided figure 6 mark location of holes and install anchors and screws do not screw all the way in Place the unit over the screws and slide the unit down to secure in place OPERATION The DESQ 2008 motion alarm provides 2 different modes of operation alarm 110 db and chime A slide switch is located on the side of the unit to select which mode is active ALARM MODE 1 To arm the unit slide the switch to the alarm position The unit will automatically arm itself after no motion has been detected for approximately 2 minutes 2 To disarm the unit slide the switch to OFF position you have approximately 5 10 seconds to slide the switch to OFF position before the alarm sounds once you have entered the detection area CHIME MODE 1 To change the unit to the chime mode simply slide the switch to chime position 2 The chime mode s
5. meilleur port e le d tecteur de mouvements doit tre fix dans un coin 1 ou 2 m tres en haut du sol L endroit a prot ger du systeme est de 20 degr s verticale fig 4 et de 110 degr s horizontale fig 5 avec une port e de plus ou moins 9 metres a partir du systeme Avant de fixer le systeme d finitivement avec les vises nous conseillons de faire un test dans la place choisi TESTER LE SYSTEME Apres avoir lu la place a fixer du syst me d alarme vous pouvez faire un marche test et pouvez voir l endroit s curis par le d tecteur de mouvements 1 Testez l endroit s curise fig 4 5 Placez le bouton glissant sur la position alarm Maintenant le systeme se trouve dans le marche test position 2 Marchez en face du syst me d alarme l indicateur LED s illuminera quand vous marchez dans l endroit a prot ger Si vous vous trouvez dehors de l endroit a prot ger l indicateur LED se d branchera Si vous marchez de nouveau dans l endroit a prot ger l indicateur LED s illuminera 3 Apres avoir test l endroit a prot ger sortez la piece Attendez 2 minutes avant de rentrer la piece Si vous rentrez et l indicateur LED ne s illumine pas vous tes signal comme un ind sirable la sir ne sonnera pendant 60 secondes Si vous rentrez et l indicateur LED s illumine de nouveau vous n avez pas attendu suffisent et le syst me se trouve encore dans la position marche test 4 Placez le bouton glissant

7. 6 This unit should be directed away from heat sources such as radiators heating ducts and stoves 7 Be aware pets can trigger the motion alarm as well as movement detected through a window 8 If the unit goes off at random it is possible the unit is located too close to a heat source Changing the location or direction of the unit can remedy this 9 People and or automobiles may be detected if they are close to a window and within range of the unit SELECTING THE MOUNTING LOCATION Important before mounting and testing this unit be sure to read the important safety tips section at the beginning of this manual For best coverage the unit should be placed in a corner located between 1 amp 2 meters above the floor The area of coverage by the unit is 20 degrees vertically see figure 4 and 110 degrees horizontally see figure 5 with a range of approximately 9 meters from the unit Before installing the mounting screws you may want to test the location you have selected TESTING After selecting a location for installation of the unit the DESQ 2008 motion alarm will allow you to perform a walk test to determine the area which is being protected by the unit 1 Test the area of detection figure 4 and 5 Slide the function switch to the alarm position The unit is now in the walk test mode 2 Begin walking in front of the unit the LED indicator will now blink on and off as you walk within the detection area If you walk
