6. ons PSMH2458 2 Using appropriate lifting device raise assembled mount and place mount against wall in desired installation location See Figure 4 3 Level and adjust horizontal position making certain slots in upper and lower horizontal brackets on mount are properly positioned over studs See Figure 4 4 Using a pencil or similar marking tool mark the location of mounting holes in base onto surface See Figure 4 5 Drill four or six pilot holes 6 if centered on 16 studs and 4 for all other mounting scenarios at marked locations See Figure 4 6 places when centered on 3 16 studs 4 places for all other mounting scenarios Figure 4 A CAUTION IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN LEAD TO MOUNT FALLING CAUSING SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENTI DO NOT overtighten hardware WARNING Failure to provide adequate structural strength for this component can result in serious personal injury or damage to equipment It is the installer s responsibility to make sure the structure to which this component is attached can support a minimum of five times the weight of the display and mount Reinforce the structure as required before installing the component 6 Secure mount to studs using 5 16 x 2 1 2 hex head cap screws and 5 16 flat washers 6 if centered on 3 16 studs and 4 for all other mounting scenarios See Figure 5 x 4 or6 Fig
