MANTENIMIENTO ADVERTENCIA Nunca lubrique el disco abrasivo mientras ste gira Para evitar incendios o reacciones t xicas nunca utilice gasolina nafta acetona disolventes para lacas o solventes muy vol tiles similares para limpiar la cortadora sensitiva Para evitar lesiones o descargas el ctricas por encendidos inesperados desenchufe el cable de alimentaci n antes de trabajar con la herramienta Para evitar descargas el ctricas incendios o lesiones utilice nicamente piezas iguales a las identificadas en la lista de piezas Vuelva a ensamblar la cortadora respetando el ensamble original a fin de evitar descargas el ctricas REEMPLAZO DE LAS ESCOBILLAS DE CARBON Fig O NOTA Antes de reemplazar las escobillas de carb n aseg rese de que la m quina haya sido desconectada de la fuente de energ a el ctrica Las escobillas de carb n proporcionadas tendr n aproximadamente una autonom a de 50 horas de utilizaci n o de 10 000 ciclos de ENCENDIDO APAGADO Reemplace las dos escobillas de carb n cuando tengan menos de 1 4 de carb n restante o si el resorte o el cable est n da ados o quemados 1 Para inspeccionar o reemplazar las escobillas primero desenchufe la herramienta Luego quite la tapa pl stica negra 1 ubicada al costado del motor 2 2 Extraiga la tapa cuidadosamente ya que tiene un resorte Luego extraiga el ensamblado de las escobillas y reempl celo por el nuevo Repita el

8. INSPECT YOUR WORKPIECE e Make sure there are no nails or foreign objects in the part of the workpiece to be cut 7 PLAN YOUR CUT e Do not cut freehand Guide your workpiece solidly against the fence and table top Make sure there is no debris between the workpiece and its supports Use extra caution with large small or awkward workpieces e Use extra support tables sawhorses blocks if your workpiece is hard to hold down to the table Do not use another person as additional support or to help feed support or pull the workpiece e Do not cut more than one workpiece at a time e Do not turn your chop saw ON before clearing everything except the workpiece and related support devices off the table 8 AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING Make sure the switch is OFF before plugging the abrasive chop saw into a power source WHEN THE CHOP SAW IS RUNNING A WARNING DO NOT ALLOW FAMILIARITY GAINED FROM FREQUENT USE OF YOUR CHOP SAW TO CAUSE A CARELESS MISTAKE REMEMBER THAT A CARELESS FRACTION OF A SECOND IS ENOUGH TO CAUSE A SEVERE INJURY 1 KEEP CHILDREN AWAY e Make sure all bystanders are clear of the power tool before and during use e Before using the power tool test the saw by turning it on and letting it run for a few seconds If it makes an unfamiliar noise or vibrates stop immediately Turn the chop saw OFF and unplug Do not restart the tool until the problem has been corrected 2 DO NOT FORCE THE TOOL e Only

BATTERIES INTO THE LASER GUIDE Fig J WARNING Failure to unplug your saw could result in accidental starting causing possible serious personal injury 1 Lift open the battery cover 2 nstall two AAA batteries into the battery box in the proper direction as noted in the battery box 3 Close the battery cover until it snaps in position Fig J ALIGNING THE LASER TRAC Fig K NOTE All the adjustments for the operation of this machine have been completed at the factory Due to normal wear and use some occasional readjustments may be necessary 1 Unplug the chop saw from the power source 2 Place a sample workpiece into the vise assembly and secure in position 3 Lower the cutting arm so the abrasive wheel contacts the workpiece and hold in position 4 Scribe a line onto the workpiece at the left edge of the abrasive cutting wheel and release the cutting arm 5 Turn on the laser guide The laser line is setup to be flush with the left side of the abrasive cutting wheel 6 Verify the line is flush with the scribed line on the workpiece If not read the following procedures for proper laser alignment ANA To parallel the laser line with the cutting wheel loosen only 1 2 turn at a time the set screw 1 To shift the laser to the right turn set screw 3 NOTE More than 1 8 turn may damage the laser assembly To shift the laser to the left turn set screw 4 DTO 7
