1. Plug the power cord into the rear ofthe display and then plug the cord into an AC power source Turn on the display The Green ON LED should light Ifthe Amber NO SYNC LED is lit refer to the Troubleshooting section CONTROLS On Screen Menu OSM Controls The OSM controls on the front of the monitor functions as follows To access the OSM menu press any ofthe Adjust buttons or Control buttons lt gt or the NEXT SELECT button Control EXIT Exits the OSM controls lt gt Moves the highlighted area left right to select desired sub menus NEXT Selects the highlighted submenu of the SELECT Main Menu RESET Resets the adjustment function within the highlighted area to the factory setting Sub Menu Exits to the OSM controls main menu Moves the bar left right to increase or decrease the selected adjustment Moves the highlighted area to select one of the functions Activate Auto Adjust Function or Activate Selected submenu Resets the highlighted adjustment function to the factory setting Note When RESET is pressed a warning window will appear allowing you to cancel the reset function BRIGHTNESS CONTRAST CONTROLS BRIGHTNESS Adjusts the overall image and background screen brightness CONTRAST Adjusts the image brightness in relation to the background AUTO ADJUST CONTRAST Adjust the image displayed for non standard video inputs Document No 150 VFP5 003 Re

9. v A May 2004 AUTO ADJUST Automatically adjusts the Image Position the Horizontal Size and Fine setting IMAGE CONTROLS LEFT RIGHT Controls Horizontal Image Position within the display area on the LCD UP DOWN Controls Vertical Image Position within the display area ofthe LCD H SIZE Adjusts the horizontal size by increasing or decreasing this setting FINE Improves focus clarity and image stability by increasing or decreasing this setting COLOR SETTING Five color presets select the desired color setting Color temperature increases or decreases in each preset NATIVE color presets cannot be changed NATIVE Original color displayed by the LCD panel that is unadjustable TOOLS LANGUAGE OSM control menus are available in seven languages OSM POSITION You can choose where you would like the OSM control window to appear on your screen Selecting OSM location allows you to manually adjust the position of the OSM control menu left right up or down OSM TURN OFF The OSM control menu time out is selectable from the following preset choices 10 20 30 45 60 and 120 seconds OSM LOCK OUT This control completely locks out access to all OSM control functions without Brightness and Contrast When attempting to activate OSM controls while in the Lock Out mode a screen will appear indicating the OSM controls are locked out To activate the OSM Lock Out function simultaneously press and hold the NEXT and butto
