This operation works only with discs that provide subtitles 71 Press SUBTITLE during playback a subtitle window box will appear on the top left side of the screen When no subtitles are recorded will display 2 Press gt 1 the subtitle window box turns yellow 3 Press A Y to hide or change subtitles 4 Press p amp d The subtitle window box will turn white To return to normal playback Press SUBTITLE until the subtitle window box disappears NOTE In some cases the subtitle language may not change immediately to the selected one For your reference When the preferred subtitle language is not selected it may indicate that the language is not available on the disc When you turn on or remove the disc this DVD Recorder will play back the subtitle language which is selected at the initial setting If you select a subtitle language which is not recorded on the disc the player will play back a prior subtitle language programmed on the disc You can change the subtitle language with the initial settings if available Viewing From Another Angle Some DVD discs may contain scenes which have been shot simultaneously from a number of different angles For these discs the same scenes can be viewed from each of these different angles using the ANGLE QQ button The recorded angles vary depending on the disc programmed 7 Press ANGLE during playback the angle window box will appear on the top left
3. 1 Please connect this DVD Recorder to your TV 2 Then connect Cable TV signal or Antenna to the ANTENNA IN jack on the back of this DVD Recorder For details please refer to Quick guide 3 Remember to use an unfinalized and recordable DVD RW or DVD R Turn on POWER of this DVD Recorder and your TV 2 Press EJ ECT to open the disc tray 3 Place a recordable DVD RW or DVD R onto the disc tray Hold the disc without touching its surface position it with the printed title facing up align it with the guides and place it in its proper position 4 Press EJ ECT again to close the disc tray If the disc is empty and has no record contents 100 free will show on the TV NOTE If you use an unused DVD RW or DVD the first reading will take about one minute 5 Press DVD REC on the remote control to switch to REC mode 6 Press SOURCE on the remote control to see TV channels through this DVD Recorder 7 Press CHANNEL or the Number buttons to select the channel you wish to record then press gt I NOTE Press AUDIO on the remote control to select TV 2nd language only if the selected program offers 2nd language DUAL for PAL TV and SAP for NTSC TV 8 Press REC on the remote control to start to record the selected channel REC will appear on the right corner of the TV screen 9 Press STOP on the remote control to stop recording WAIT will appear on the right corner of the TV screen Wait until LIVE appe

6. a heater has been turned on in a steamy or very humid room when the unit is suddenly moved from a cold environment to a warm one If moisture forms inside this unit it may not operate properly In this case turn on the power and wait about one hour for the moisture to evaporate gif there is noise interference on the TV while a broadcast is being received Depending on the reception condition of the TV interference may appear on the TV monitor while you watch a TV broadcast and the unit is left on This is not a malfunction of the unit or the TV To watch a TV broadcast turn off the unit SN DVD Playback Preparations Press on the power button of the TV set and select Video as the TV input Press on the power button of the stereo system if the player has been connected to a stereo system Basic Playback Press POWER on 2 Press EJ ECT to open the disc tray 3 Place a disc onto the tray Hold the disc without touching its surfaces position it with the printed title side facing up align it with the guides and place it in its proper position 4 Press EJ ECT The disc tray closes and this DVD Recorder starts playback if the disc does not have any menus recorded on it if the disc has one or more titles recorded on it a menu screen will appear on the TV screen NOTE Proceed with steps 5 and 6 when a menu is available on the disc 5 Press lt gt A V or the number button s to select the preferred ti
