5. solvents such as paint thinners benzene or abrasive cleaning products These and other harsh cleaning agents will damage the cabinet of the monitor SPECIAL NOTES ON LCD MONITORS The following symptoms are normal with LCD monitor and do not indicate problem Due to the nature of the fluorescent light the screen may flicker during initial use Turn off the Power Switch and then turn it on again to make sure the flicker disappears You may find slightly uneven brightness on the screen depending on the desktop pattern you use The LCD screen has effective pixels of 99 99 or more It may include blemishes of 0 01 or less such as missing pixel or a pixel lit all of the time 6 HANNSpree Due to the nature of LCD screens an after image of the previous displayed content may remain if this image has been the displayed for several hours The LCD screen should recover if the image is changed or powered off for several hours If the screen suddenly flashes erratically or the backlighting fails please contact your dealer or service center for repair Do not attempt to repair the monitor yourself HANNSpree 7 PREFACE Thank you for purchasing Hannspree Liquid Crystal Display Monitor LCD Monitor Please carefully read this manual in its entirety before setting up using or operating your Monitor To ensure the safe and correct installation and operations of the Monitor it is important that the safety and operation in
