5. 3 Press the lt gt arrow buttons to display the previous next picture with that picture s information 4 To exit Picture Info press the Select button aO n 4 Customizing Your Camera Settings settings according to your personal preferences Use Setup B on the Mode dial to customize the camera Ka Adjusting LCD Screen Brightness You can adjust the LCD screen brightness to make the display easier to see 1 Turn the Mode dial to Setup B 2 Highlight the Display Brightness TE menu then press the Select button 3 Use the Afw arrow buttons to scroll through the brightness settings The available brightness settings are 2 0 black screen to 2 0 white screen in 0 5 increments The camera default is 0 0 The screen previews the changes as you scroll through the settings 4 Press Select The highlighted setting is applied and you are returned to the Setup menu screen This setting remains until you change it Jl d Chapter 4 Setting Video Out The Video Out feature allows you to match the camera s video signal to the standard that applies in your geographical location Video Out must be set correctly to run a slide show on a television or other external device 1 Turn the Mode dial to Setup R 2 Highlight the Video Out e menu then press the Select button Highlight the Video Out option NTSC standard used in most countries except Europe The United States and Japan use NTSC PAL

Select button Highlight Begin Show then press Select The pictures in the camera from internal memory or Picture Card depending on your picture storage location are each displayed once in the order in which you took them Then the camera returns to the Menu screen 4 To cancel the Slide Show press Select NOTE If you connect or disconnect the video cable while a slide show is running the slide show stops When you restart it by selecting Begin Show it begins again with the first picture in your camera Changing the Display Interval The factory interval setting displays each picture for 5 seconds You can increase the display interval to up to 60 seconds 1 On the Slide Show screen highlight Interval then press Select 2 Select how long you wish to display each picture 5 60 seconds To scroll through the seconds menu faster hold an arrow button afe down Press the Select button The interval setting remains until you change it 20 Chapter e J Copying Pictures The Copy feature allows you to copy pictures between a Picture Card and the camera s internal memory You can capture pictures on a Picture Card then copy and save your favorites into internal memory Or you may wish to copy pictures to a Picture Card for portability for viewing on a different computer or for printing at your local photo retailer Before You Copy Before you copy files make sure that Q you have a Picture Card ins
