9. brief operational procedures for the systems with and without an internal hard drive 10 ARS 2030PC Manual 3 3 1 With an Internal Hard Drive When a 3 5 inch SATA hard drive is connected to the ARS 2030PC please follow the operational procedures below m You can check if the hard drive is detected by the ARS 2030PC through the device information function list no 11 15 If a hard drive is detected and correctly recognized by the ARS 2030PC the CHO in the device information will be HDD Before any operation the hard drive has to be formatted You can format the hard drive through the 13 04 function m Set the hard drive as the source through the eighth function Select Source The default value is source Choose a partition for data storage through the ninth function Image m f the selected partition is empty insert a DVD CD to the DVD ROM and choose the 9 01 function Load Press ENT to back up the DVD CD to the selected partition Different data should be stored in different partitions Exit the menu by pressing ESC and switch to the first function Copy by pressing A or V Insert a blank DVD CD into the DVD burner and press ENT to start copying Upon completion of data copying the successfully duplicated DVD CD will be ejected automatically The default setting is automatic ejection and it can be changed The failed DVD CD will be held in the DVD burner The default setting keeps the failed DVD CD
