DuraFon 4X Line Dedication Set Up To set up DuraFon 4X system for dedicated line operations the following steps are required as the factory default settings are different Before we start we have to register the handset s to the system properly by following the steps of Handset Registration in page 34 of the User Manual These steps can only be performed by the handsets of IDs 10 or 11 Turn on the base station unit and wait for 20 seconds to start up Then turn on the handsets of IDs 10 or 11 Steps Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Step 8 Buttons to press Menu 9 Select Admin 1 Select Auto Attendant 4 Select AA On Off Up Down arrow keys Off to turn off AA Yes to enable line dedication Displayed screens Main menu Admin Searching for base Attenda Select Line 1 line that you work on currently On Off AA turned on or off AA turned off Dedicate Line Please enter Ext 10 Handset ID that dedicated to this line it can be any ID of the system Done Repeat from step 4 to step 8 to work on the next line s i e line 2 line 3 and line 4 until all the required lines are done
