Connect the pump to the controller Type 2 pumps disinfectant pH Place the first saddle and accessories as per Type pump v Place the second saddle at a minimum distance of 50 cm from the first one Turn the opening 2 upwards Mark then drill the pipe Mount the injection connector 12 with Teflon The injection connector should be as close as possible to water pushing in to the pool Y Connect the suction strainer to the pH pump with a part of the tubing supplied The arrow on the pH pump cover indicates the flow direction Y Connect the outlet of the pH pump to the injection connector with a piece of the tubing supplied Connect the pump to the controller IV ACTIVATION A INTRODUCTION A When installing the device for the first time or at the start of a new season it is imperative to check and adjust the following 3 points v The pool water must be clear and free from algae or sediment v The water should be correctly balanced alkalimetry hydrometry e Alkalimetry shows the level of bicarbonates dissolved in the water e Hydrometry shows the water hardness that is the level of calcium or magnesium salts dissolved in the water v The pH of water should be stabilised between 7 0 and 7 2 A The efficiency of a chlorine chemical treatment is rapidly decreased by the increase in pH and scale precipitates more quickly when pH is high or unstable Effectiveness of chlorine b 7 80 5

MA flashes in the display Y Choose the SE function with the buttons then confirm with V Y Choose rE with the 0 buttons then confirm with V v The display flashes with the stored details Y Choose the desired value with within 500 to 900 mV then confirm with V The Redox regulation will be from now at the new chosen value 6 Adjustment of the pH set point The pH set point by default is 7 2 It is however possible to modify this set point to fit the features of your pool water Press the V button for 3 seconds MA flashes in the display Choose the SE function with the buttons then confirm with V Choose the PH function with the O buttons then confirm with V The display flashes with the stored details Choose the value you want with within 6 8 to 7 6 then confirm with V The pH regulation will from now on be at the new value chosen SONNE N 7 Manual injection This function allows you to carry out manual injection of a disinfectant or pH corrector product for an adjustable amount of time 11 Press button V for 3 seconds MA flashes in the display Select the MA parameter and confirm with V Select the desired product rE disinfectant or pH pH correcting agent Select the dose from 0 to 990 ml for the disinfectant or a time from 0 to 9 5 mn for the pH with the QObuttons then confirm with V Caution a read out of 15 means 150 ml while 1 1 means 1 mn and 1 second v Injection starts Af

10. e installation diagram S The valves mounted on the saddles allow isolating the measuring circuit Another valve placed between the 2 filters allows the water sampling for measurements by photometer for example Assembly panel connection S Place the first saddle Mark then drill the pipe Mount the small valve on the saddle with Teflon Mount the fitting M on the small valve lt S Place the second saddle Mark then drill the pipe In the same way mount the small valve on the second saddle with Teflon Mount the fitting M 2 on the small valve S Take off the rubber protections from the probes then mount them on the corresponding probe holders Ensure it is not stuck in the pipe S Connect the cables from the REDOX and pH probes BNC plugs to the bottom of the controller Keep it away from all other electric cables to avoid any electromagnetic disturbance which may distort measurements 3 Accessories Type 1 pump disinfectant v Place the first saddle in the middle of a horizontal pipe of a minimum of 40 cm turning the opening 1 2 preferably upwards Mark then drill the pipe Mount the injection connector on to the saddle with Teflon Y Connect the inlet filter to the pump with a part of the coloured tubing supplied Follow the direction of the arrows on the cover of the pump Y Connect the outlet of the disinfectant pump to the injection connector with a piece of the tubing supplied

18. ter 3secs the device automatically goes to the main menu SASS 8 Adjustment of the probes This function allows you to adjust the values measured by the device and the values you have measured in your pool with your usual analysis kit Press button V for 3 seconds Ma starts to flash Choose function Ad using the 9 Q buttons then confirm with V Select the desired product rE disinfectant or pH pH correcting agent The display flashes the current value Select the desired value using the buttons from 400 to 800 mV for the disinfectant and from 6 8 to 7 6 for the pH then confirm with V If the selected value is acceptable then the display shows Oh during 3 s The new value is then saved v After 3 secs the device automatically goes to regulation mode SAN OREN In case of failure in adjusting a probe v The display shows Er for Error Push the button ON OFF or V to erase the message v The previous value remains stored 9 Calibration of the pH probe Each pH probe has its own characteristics To regulate pH effeciently it is recommended that a calibration pH probe be made at the start of the season and after any change of the pH probe Y Check that you have pH7 and pH10 solutions not supplied Y Stop filtration Remove the probe from its holder and replace it with a coin Then set filtration to MANUAL mode Hold down the V button for 3 seconds MA flashes Choose function CA using the 9 O buttons then confirm w
