Turn the arrow to select one of the 8 pictures Touch icons to select game mode from game 1 to 4 Important information e This toy is suitable for children aged 2 years amp over On OFF switch e Please retain this manual for further reference e WARNING All packing materials such as internal bags plastic collars plastic films carton inserts are not part of this product and should be discarded for your child s safety e IMPORTANT for additional safety check toys regularly for signs of damage during use CONTENT e Unit e Instruction manual in Cpiration o A works OW TO PLAY e Switch the unit ON and select a game Game 1 Discovery In this mode turn the arrow to select a picture of a character and you will hear them say a phrase Game 2 Quiz In this mode Fireman Sam will ask you to find one of the characters He will ask you to find them by name or by hearing them say a phrase eg Find Norman Who says Reporting for duty Use the arrow to answer You have 3 chances to find the correct answer If after the third attempt you have not found the correct answer the unit will give you the answer or and ask you another question Game 3 Search Out In this mode Fireman Sam will ask you to find one of the characters He will ask a question about something the character has or does eg Who has a ladder Who drives Venus Who has a moustache Use the arrow to answer2. You have 3 chances to find the correct answer If after the third attempt you have not found the correct answer the unit will give you the answer or and ask you another question Game 4 Music In this mode turn the arrow to select a picture of a character and listen to short music or sounds from the Fireman Sam series Automatic shut off To save battery power the unit will switch off automatically after a few seconds of inactivity HOW TO CHANGE BATTERIES 1 This product requires 2 x AAA batteries 2 When required using a suitable screwdriver undo and remove the battery cover located under the unit 3 Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the compartment ensuring they are installed the correct way around 4 The polarities are marked inside the battery compartment 5 Should the batteries have no polarity markings J the flat end of the battery should always be inserted against the spring 6 Reassemble the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure 7 Do not over tighten Please note the important points below when using batteries to power this product e Batteries should be inserted and removed by an adult e Only use the type of batteries specified in this user manual or equivalent type We recommend the use of alkaline batteries e Follow the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment and the polarity markings on the batteries e An incorrect location may either damage the toy or cause batt
