P rod uct B u eti nN For Distribution To e International Distributors e International Management e U S Field Sales amp Clinical Specialists e U S Technical amp Field Service Date October 1 2013 RE Clean out procedure for switching from one type of disinfectant to another in the CER OPTIMA Reprocessor NOTE Please read through instructions thoroughly prior to performing this procedure Verify that all the necessary supplies are at hand at the start of the process Remove the Existing Disinfectant 1 Dump existing disinfectant from the CER OPTIMA reservoir tank e Press the HLD TO DRAIN key e Press the START key Visually ensure that the reservoir tank is empty once the cycle is complete Remove the reservoir tank and wipe clean with a lint free cloth Refit the tank in the cart or cabinet Remove the old disinfectant filter O3 O a S Install new disinfectant filter Rinse the CER OPTIMA with Water 1 Fill the reservoir tank with fresh water This can be done either by directly pouring water into the reservoir utilizing the transfer pump option or pouring the water into the basin and manually brining the water down into the reservoir Refer to the CER OPTIMA User manual for instructions 2 Run two HLD Rinse cycles with fresh water NOTE Water must be at the minimum required temperature for the selected HLD otherwise the cycle will be halted due to low water temperature in the HLD phase of the cycle e Selec
