ECG Module User Manual Recommended separation distances between portable and mobile RF communications equipment and the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect PRO Cardiograph The Welch Allyn CardioPerfect PRO Cardiograph is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled The customer or the user of the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect PRO Cardiograph can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a minimum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment transmitters and the Welch Allyn CardioPerfect PRO Cardiograph as recommended below according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment Separation distance according to frequency of transmitter Rated maximum m output power of transmitter 150 KHz to 80 MHz 80 MHz to 800 MHz 800 MHz to 2 5 GHz W 35 a ee T For transmitters rated at a maximum output power not listed above the recommended separation distance d in meters m can be estimated using the equation applicable to the frequency of the transmitter where P is the maximum output power rating of the transmitter in watts W according to the transmitter manufacturer NOTE 1 At 80 MHz and 800 MHz the separation distance for the higher frequency range applies NOTE2 These guidelines may not apply in all situations Electromagnetic propagation is affected by absorption and reflection from structures objects and people DIR 80012335 Ver F 74 80

With this option you can select the order in which the leads are displayed Two ECG lead sequences are provided the standard lead sequence or the Cabrera format Amplitude unit With this option you can select the unit in which the measured amplitudes are expressed You can select either millimeter or microvolt The millimeter setting is dependent on the sensitivity that you use The microvolt setting is sensitivity independent Muscle filter This setting will affect the high cutoff frequency that is used by the frequency muscle filter Minimum last stage Enter the minimum duration of the last stage in seconds duration Show Pacer By checking or unchecking the Show Pacer box you can control whether a test will start with artificial pacemaker signal indicators on or off During the test and during post test review you will also be able to turn the pacemaker marks on or off For example see Pacemaker pulse detection on page 26 7 2 Exercise ECG settings Viewing tab Use the Viewing tab in the ECG settings window to configure how ECGs are displayed on your Workstation The Viewing tab contains the following options Colors Here you can specify individual colors for the background axis and grid lines trends superimpose and ST markers Color schemes This list lets you choose from a number of predefined color schemes Selections Here you can define selections A selection is a group of events that appear together on the Averages
