CAMBRO CAMBRO CAMBRO Merc ace OSRAM T San para S USA a Sen ce UPCH400 UPCH800 UPCH4002 UPCH8002 UPCH1600 110V UPCH16002 220V 2 110V 220V Instructions for Resetting UPCH Heaters Directions This document covers door heaters manufactured with manually resettable hi limit thermostats only Door heaters with this feature will have an access hole in the cover of the heating unit and shall have a label RESET located near the hole NOTE Normal operation of the door heater is controlled by an automatic cycling control thermostat Failure of the control thermostat may cause the temperature inside the Cambro product to rise to temperatures that could cause damage to the plastic A manually resettable Hi limit thermostat set at 195 F 90 6 C is built into the heater circuit This device will effectively remove power to the heater in the heating unit and will not return it to normal operation until the temperature is lower than 185 85 C and the button on the hi limit thermostat is depressed Other tactors can cause the hi limit thermostat to open up such as fan failure or placing food pans with temperatures higher than 190 87 8 0 CAUTION Electrical Shock Hazard Before attempting to reset the hi limit thermostat unplug the heater power cord from the power source Only use non metal tools to depress the reset button Do not bypass or al

Problema Causas Posibles Soluciones Posibles La unidad esta enchufada pero no calienta en lo absoluto e No hay potencia el ctrica 0 hay una cantidad inadecuada e El cord n el ctrico no esta completamente conectado a la fuente de poder o al calentador e El cordon el ctrico esta da ado e La unidad t rmica esta dafiada e Verifique la potencia suministrada a la unidad Debe ser igual a los requerimientos indicados en la etiqueta del calentador Cerci rese de que ambas puntas del cord n el ctrico est n bien conectadas Siempre reemplace los cordones el ctricos dafiados por cordones el ctricos autorizados por Cambro Reemplace el calentador La unidad opera durante mas de 1 hora pero no alcanza la minima temperatura de 64 C e La puerta no esta completamente cerrada o falta la junta e El cord n el ctrico esta dafiado y esta provocando una potencia intermitente al calentador e El term metro esta dafiado o no esta funcionando bien e La unidad t rmica no esta funcionando bien Cerci rese de que la puerta est completamente cerrada y que la junta est en su lugar Esta bien si hay ranuras pequefias pues stas no afectar n el rendimiento Siempre reemplace los cordones el ctricos dafiados por cordones el ctricos autorizados por Cambro Revise el calor en el interior de la unidad con un term metro verificado ubicado en el centro del inter

173. ter the thermostats in any way 1 Remove the power cord from the wall outlet or power supply and remove the other end from the front of the heater 2 Open the door of the Cambro product and hold the heater firmly while you remove the 5 thumb screws with washers holding the heater to the inner face of the door This may also be done after removing the door from the Cambro product or by having another person hold the heater for you 3 Once you have the heater on a stable surface with the metal section facing down locate the small round hole in the cover with RESET next to the hole the RESET word may not be on some units 4 Using a small diameter round non metal item such as a rigid plastic stir stick guide it through the hole and depress the button on the hi limit thermostat as seen in the figure below 5 Remove the item you used to depress the button and return the heater to the door replace the screws with the washers and tighten 6 Plug the cord into the door front and then to the power source Switch on the heater if required and verify it is heating up to the normal temperature NOTE After resetting the hi limit thermostat please verify that all fans are operating and that the temperature does not go above 185 85 C If the fans are not operat ing the hi limit will be activated again after the heat in the heater enclosure reaches the set point temperature If the original cause was failure of the control thermo
