1. Back height adjustment The back height is adjusted by depressing a button at the base of the back on the right hand side Lift the back slowly until it clicks into the next position There are 5 height positions offering up to 70mm back height adjustment Tension control The hand wheel located on the right under the seat adjusts the tension of the mechanism operation of the chair By turning the hand wheel clockwise the tension is increased by turning the hand wheel anti clockwise the tension is decreased Headrest adjustment The headrest has a 60mm height adjustment with 7 positions The headrest can be raised or lowered by pulling the headrest unit up or pushing it down the bracket The headrest can be adjusted over a 125 angle by tilting the headrest itself Operating Instructions Opal OPAL Mechanism C10 Synchro T gt Arm width adjustment Push the lever down and pull out the arm to the required width When correctly adjusted push the lever up to lock in place The width can be adjusted by 35mm a Seat height The lever on the right hand side under the seat and next to the hand wheel adjusts the height of the chair By lifting the lever the chair height can be increased or decreased Once at the desired height release the lever Synchro mechanism The synchronised mechanism ensures that whilst in the free floating position the seat and back move simultaneously Lift the lever to put2. the chair in free float operation There are three lever positions the highest position is fully locked the mid position is free float but returns to a set position and the lower position is fully open The mechanism www jbl co uk Arm height adjustment Only available with AO arm options To adjust the arm height depress the button on the outside of the arm and raise or lower the arm The available height adjustment is 100mm A Seat slide The seat slide enables the seat to be adjusted by an additional 50mm and can be locked into any position The seat is adjusted by an integrated button on the left hand side under the seat A features a return prevention safety function to prevent the chair from springing forward once activated In order to activate the mechanism apply body weight to the back of chair to release the mechanism from locked position The synchro ratio is 2 7 1 The back angle range is from 0 to 25 and the function has four locking positions including upright work position integrated seat tilt adjustment of 3 to the front position and safety release Left right instructions are given as if you are seated on the chair
