ALPEN 2 E17K User Guide Please read this guide thoroughly before use FiO oduction to FiiO E17K DAC and headphone amplifier The E17K is a portable multifunction audio output device being a USB Audio decoder DAC and headphone amplifier all rolled into one It is suitable for obtaining high quality audio in connection with personal computers digital audio players and other audio devices Connectivity and functionality 1 11 pin USB dock connector functions as normal USB port for charging and or USB audio connection with computers and also as a docking connector via the extra pins to realize line output remote on off control etc 2 3 5mm stereo headphone output port suitable for a variety of headphones recommended headphone impedance 16 1500 3 3 5mm coaxial S PDIF input port for receiving and decoding high res PCM signals from e g Digital audio players 4 3 5mm AUX LO port functions as line output in USB SPDIF audio modes or as line input when AUX audio mode is selected 5 Indicator LED Indicates the power and charging status of the E17K 6 High brightness OLED matrix display shows various status and setting info 7 Internal high capacity Li polymer battery for approx 15 hours runtime 8 Fully bypassable Gain Bass Treble and Balance controls to suit various listening demands List of items included in package please check to make sure that all items are included E17K 1pc Coaxial input adapter cable
2. 6 Menu entry Press the volume knob in to enter options menu while in the menus scrolling the volume button up and down chooses between options while pressing in the volume knob enters the chosen submenu or activates the chosen menu item for change via scrolling the volume button in which case pressing in the volume knob confirms the change and exits the adjustment screen 7 Scroll up volume up scroll up the volume knob to increase volume scroll up menu entries or increase the value of a chosen option in the menus 8 Scroll down volume down scroll down the volume knob to decrease volume scroll down menu entries or decrease the value of a chosen option in the menus 9 Power EXIT Hold to turn the unit on or off press briefly to go back up a menu level or exit from the menus Indicator LED blue indicates that the unit is powered on red indicates that the unit is charging purple indicates that the unit is powered on and charging 10 11 pin Micro USB port dock connector connects to computer USB ports for audio decoding charging charging adapters for charging or FiiO docking devices to output line signal remote on off control Precautions Do not disassemble expose the unit to water or carry out unauthorized repair on the unit If the E17K is to be left unused for a long time it should be recharged periodically to preserve its battery life Please set the volume with moderation to protect your hearin
