La Installation Instructions FloWise 1660 SERIES Vandal Proof Showerheads Thank you for selecting American Standard the benchmark of fine quality for over 100 years To ensure that your installation proceeds smoothly please read these instructions carefully before you begin Certified to comply with ANSI A112 18 1 M965035 Recommended Tools SS Adjustable Wrench Teflon Tape 1 REMOVE LOCK RING 1660 SERIES M Use the HEX WRENCH 1 supplied to loosen LOCK RING SET SCREW 2 Remove LOCK RING 3 FROM SHOWER HEAD 4 P SEAL SHOWER ELBOW E Apply TEFLON TAPE 1 or sealant to threads of SHOWER ARM 2 E Slide the small end of the LOCK RING 3 onto SHOWER ARM 4 3 INSTALL SHOWER HEAD m Tighten SHOWER HEAD 1 to SHOWER ARM 2 with adjustable wrench FIG 1 SET SCREW 2 CONNECTOR HOLE HEX WRENCH E Turn water on to shower and check for leaks SET SCREW E Slide the LOCK RING 3 over the shower connector aligning the set screw with connector hole F G 1 E Tighten the set screw with hex wrench until it s tight against the SHOWER ARM 2 FIG 2 Adjustable Wrench FIG 1 FIG 2
