5. mer button E Head guard F Cleaning brush G Storage pouch Model R 835 G _ Easy View Trimmer 28879_R800_revised series 11 4 05 4 02 PM Page 6 Please refer to your Safety Instructions before operating your shaver Removing the Headguard Before operating your shaver remove the headguard which protects the screen and cutter assembly It is important to remove the headguard correctly to avoid damaging the clips that hold it to the shaver 1 Press lightly on the top of the headguard 2 Lift the lower rear edge 3 Pull the headguard away from the shaver Always keep the protective head guard on the shaver head and keep the trimmer in the OFF position when the shaver is not in use ON OFF Switch To activate the shaver press in the locking bar while pushing the power button up Power System Corded shavers can only be used while they are plugged into an electrical outlet Corded Operation of the R 830 and R 835 E Slide the power button down to the OFF position Connect the supplied AC power to the shaver s power port and then to an electrical outlet Operating the Easy View Trimmer The Easy View pop up trimmer extends to trim mustache sideburns etc E Trimmer is turned off until it is extended for use E Push the trimmer button up to pop up the trimmer E Hold the shaver with the trimmer toward you when
