4. 0V AC outlet 50 60 cycles To remove the AC adapter disconnect the adapter plug from the AC outlet first and then disconnect the cord from the monitor s jack NOTE The monitor is designed not to draw power from the batteries when the AC adapter is in use HOW TO APPLY THE ARM CUFF cnyour itam 1 Check if the air plug is securely inserted in the main unit 2 Remove tight fitting clothing from your upper arm 3 Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and place your arm on a table so that the cuff will be at same level as your heart 4 Hold the cloth velcro on the cuff with your other hand Cloth fastener 5 Turn the palm of your hand upward Apply the cuff on your upper arm 10 HOW TO APPLY THE ARM CUFF oivurictam Continued 6 Align the Green Marker of the cuff over the brachial artery on the inside of the arm Bottom Edge 2 inch The bottom of the cuff should be approximately 1 2 1 above your elbow Green Mark Cuff Tube 7 Secure the cuff around your arm using the cloth velcro 8 Make sure the cuff is wrapped firmly in place 9 Relax your arm and put the elbow on the table NOTE Arm cuff can also be wrapped on your right arm Follow the instructions above numbers 1 9 11 HOW TO TAKE A READING If you are going to use the unit s memory function to automatically store the measurement values you USER need to choose user A or B

When 21 sets of readings are stored in memory the oldest set will be deleted to store a new set 5 Press the ON OFF button to turn the monitor off NOTE If you forget to turn the monitor off it will automatically shut itself off after five minutes Instructions for special conditions e If your systolic pressure is known to be more than 220 mmHg press and hold the START button until the monitor inflates 30 to 40 mmHg higher than your CS suspected systolic pressure NOTE Do not apply more pressure than necessary The monitor will not inflate above 280 mmHg Continue to press button 13 HOW TO USE THE MEMORY FUNCTION This monitor has a memory capable of storing 21 sets of readings each for A and B User Selector Every time you complete the measurement the monitor automatically stores blood pressure and pulse rate e Select the user to recall memory by the User Selector e Turn on the monitor by pressing ON OFF button e Press the M button to recall stored readings while the Heart Symbol 4 is displayed Ige Dn Date and Time of stored readings will be alternately displayed e To delete all the stored readings press the m button and the START button simultaneously NOTE You can not delete the stored readings partially l 4 j Press these two buttons at the same time TROUBLESHOOTING Error Indicator Cause Correction EE Cuff under inflated Mov
8. ate Time Display Components Green Mark Arm Cuff Air Tube Applicable arm cuff for Adults 9 to 17 in Pras AC Adapter ir Plug Connects to Air Jack 5 QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE 1 Avoid eating smoking and exercising for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement 2 Remove tight fitting clothing from your upper left arm 3 Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and place your left arm on a table so that the cuff is at the same level as your heart 4 Wrap the arm cuff around your upper left arm making sure that the bottom edge of the cuff is approximately 1 2 to 1 above the elbow 5 Pull the end of the cuff so that the entire cuff is evenly tightened around your arm and the Green Marker on the cuff is above the brachial artery 6 Press the ON OFF button 7 After the Heart Symbol 4 appears on the digital panel press the START button and remain still until the measurement is complete 8 When measurement is complete the monitor displays your blood pressure and pulse rate and automatically deflates the cuff 9 Wait 2 3 minutes before taking another blood pressure measurement You may require more rest time between readings depending on your individual physiological characteristics BATTERY INSTALLATION REPLACEMENT 1 Slide the battery cover off in the direction of the arrow 2 Install or replace 4 AA size batteries so the positive and negative polarities match
